I am so over parenting this at this point that this morning, C got oatmeal everywhere and instead of wanting to clean it up properly, I just threw his pajamas out, even though there's nothing wrong with them.
I want to put whiskey in my coffee and take a nap, and pretend I never have to feed another person again.
I found a plastic bag of pee clothes from daycare in the pantry the other day. No idea how long they've been there. I didn't even open it. I just threw it out.
I found one in a clothes basket. They were shorts. I found it in January. 8-/
I thought it was just the caffeine that made it dehydrating? I make decaf. But hey, like I said "I like to pretend it's the same as water". I totally realize it's not.
Not flaming you at all. Decaf is dehydrating, as well. My doctor just gave me that lecture a couple weeks ago when I told her how much decaf I was drinking. I don't know if Target sells somethong like this but Walmart actually sells all natural drink mixes in individual packets, so just like crystal light. It's their own brand, and their really good.

Bummer! Thanks though! All natural drink mixes as in no dyes? I will check it out!
I'm so bad about returning things I buy online. They just sit around until the last minute when I finally send it out.
OMG me too. I'm terrible. I'll buy things because they are such a good deal then they come and don't fit then I forget.
Even things I don't buy online. I bought two dresses in target a while back. Must be 1-2 months ago now. I tried them on again and I hate them, I don't know what I was thinking. It's probably too late to return them now and I cant find the receipt

I do the same thing with decaf tea because sometimes I have trouble just drinking enough plain water. I'll water it down and end up drinking twice as much tea as water over the day so I figure it will all even out :-)

DH was given Tylenol suppositories for Mel instead of melting tablets and will be returning them. I'm going to let him know that if he doesn't return bearing alcohol that he may not be accepted back into the house.
We don't use any bath tissue in our house. I'm not sure if I'm too cheap to buy it or if I enjoy torture. We use toilet paper. It works.
I assume you meant facial tissue? When I read the first sentence I was all "well this is going to be good. Does she wipe her ass with wash clothes?" Anyways, we are too cheap to buy facial tissue too. When I'm sick I just keep a roll of toilet paper at my bed side. Haha. Other than being sick we rarely blow our noses around here anyways.

alicia45laurack. I'm not a cuddled either. I can't fall asleep spooning. I hate it. Dh says I'm the only girl who doesn't like to sleep like that. It just gets too hot.
less hydrating that water. well actually I don't know.. if it's decaf maybe not
I know caffeinated beverages are less hydrating than water
but they don't DEhydrate
the only liquid that causes a negative water balance is alcohol. So if you were in the desert, dying of thirst coffee would be better than nothing. But not vodka.
They do dehydrate though, because the caffeine acts as a diuretic so you end up peeing more than you would otherwise, which takes more liquid out of your body

V is still RFing. I think I am going to flip her mostly because I'm tired of the comments/judgements. I know this is a terrible reason to make a parenting decision.

I started making a 2 qt of Crystal Light to give me something else to drink. I like the pink lemonade.
This is relating to the Duggar news: One of the things I hate about stories like this is it makes people who are already biased against religion go, "See?? Religion is bad!" As if belief in God is what makes things like this happen.
