Dinner out tonight for my niece's 5th bday, having friends over tomorrow night, beta on Sunday, Memorial Day parade and coffee with one of my moms groups. Should be a great weekend, as long as the beta is positive.
Yay for Friday! My H's best friend and wife are driving in tomorrow. Both H and his friend have birthdays next week so we are going to celebrate. Tomorrow night will be dinner and gambling at the casino. Sunday will be something outdoorsy and then hopefully a cookout at my house.
Tomorrow I am going to a children's resale with my mom. Sunday is our 7th anniversary and we are going to my father in law's house for a Memorial Day party. Monday we are going to my parents' house for a cookout.
We have family coming in from out of town. Tonight my brother is bring a pizza over and hanging out, Saturday we are doing a cook out at in laws with the family, Sunday is my birthday and we are doing dinner with my side of the family, and Monday staying home!
We are getting our third vanity in today and hoping it will be perfect so we can get that installed this weekend.
Tonight, I drive down to the promised land to attend my baby cousin's graduation. I'll probably spend the night down there and see my parents on Saturday. I'll do some chores Saturday night. Sunday after church, J gets back from Georgia. We'll probably hang out at the house and do something low-key.
Well, I got my blood test results back just now. My beta is 67,492. I got a referral for an obgyn in my area (GP is kind of far away), so I will schedule my first appointment for next week or the week after.
We're doing game night tomorrow but no other plans. We're really trying to cut back our spending because daycare costs are killing us right now. We'll be fine, we just need to get better about random spending!
San Antonio was canceled, too expensive. We're at my ILs now. I found out about an hour and a half ago that my BFF is 11 weeks pregnant, she just got remarried about 14 weeks ago. On the one hand, I'm so super excited for her. She's had a hard life and needs some happiness. On the other hand, and my H first verbalized what I was thinking, "wow that was fast. Must be nice..."
My Outlook email is not working. It's a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. I'm just about ready to say "f*** it all!" But really I'd like to get a few things accomplished. Why won't it work???
This has been a shitty week. Glad its practically over.
Out with the dogs at a neighborhood park now BC in-laws had a meeting at their house. We may order a pizza when h gets home.
Only other plan is the shopping spree MIL is planning for H for Sunday. She's buying h a new wardrobe. Bil is coming with for fashion advice. I'm secretly hoping that she will buy me something too.
@moonbeam that is just awful. It's awful they were asking him to be unethical, and it's even worse that they would consider firing him for doing the right thing. I understand why he is sickened, but at least his consciounce will be clear.

@moonbeam That's horrible! My H works in an industry that sends samples of things (maybe the same industry?) and I have never heard of him doing this. I think he would be fired if he lied to the customer like that. He did the right thing. I know it's scary but even if he did get fired, I don't think he'd have trouble finding another job since he is in the right, not his bosses!
@moonbeam DH was in a similar situation, where his bosses asked him to do something unethical. He held them off as long as he could, but eventually, it was "do this or you're fired." So he quit. That was a week before our wedding, lol. He did so with my full knowledge and support. If they're asking your H to do something unethical, he doesn't need to be working for them anyway. I'd start polishing the resume.
