Crisis averted!

DH has an event this weekend (surprise surprise) and I was going to take DD to NH for some mother daughter time. I hadn't gotten any reminders about the trip, so I checked Expedia.

I booked NEXT weekend. For a non-refundable room.

I called the hotel directly and they had rooms. They were able to cancel my old reservation (I don't know how, I must be living right) and book me a new room at a lower rate.

I have been talking this up with S for a week and she has been so good at school lately, this was going to be a special treat. I'm so glad I pulled this off.

She set up a schedule, at least for tomorrow. It involves swimming in the hotel pool, going to the kids' museum, and eating ice cream

Then when we get home we're going to plant the garden with Daddy. We started seeds last week.
