H is outside having a bonfire while I sit on the couch with a Culver's cement mixer and The Fosters on Netflix.
I noticed tonight that I have a Duggar sympathizer on my FB feed. It's H's super conservative cousin whose political bullshit I usually hide, but I'm still surprised that she's liking all of the Duggar apologies and the like. Gross.

Argh. We have a lawn service that fertilizes the lawn throughout the summer. But they do it randomly without any warning. Why oh why did they choose to fertilize it this afternoon? It's not like it's a holiday weekend known for people being outside having parties and BBQing or anything. And of course we have people coming over tomorrow. Should be fun trying to keep the kids off the grass.
Got my Costco maxi dress today. I love everything about it except it doesn't fit my boobs. :-( I might order a large and see if that helps but then I worry it will be too big everywhere else. Ugh, why can't I ever find a flattering maxi that fits me?!

Ugh, story of my life with the boobs. And the reason why I hate clothes shopping.

In lighter news, we were watching something cheesy and H said "we should get divorced so we can start dating again". He then clarified, dating each other.
It's 7:45 and I'm seriously considering going to bed. I was pumping and a wave of sheer exhaustion hit me hard. I think I'm going to turn on some shitty TV and lay in the dark and see what happens, ha.
Currently, H is doing the grocery shopping, my mom is cleaning the kitchen, and both kids are asleep.
We are having a fabulous kid-free mini vacation! We did a 4 mile hike today, followed by a super tasty seafood lunch. Now we are having a glass of wine and relaxing/reading in our hotel room. We have dinner reservations in about 2 hours.
Last night I had a little too much to drink, and when we got back to our hotel room I literally danced around singing WE HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITIES RIGHT NOW! lol.
We just got a bid to remodel our kitchen and replace the flooring in a few rooms and it is WAY higher than I expected. $2.30/sf to remove carpet is insane, right? For that price I would do it myself. Ugh.
I'm here...sort of. Parents will be in soon. Trying to think of everything to pack. I can't locate my lady parts with a razor sufficiently to avoid the dry shave tomorrow. Ugh...
I went to Famous Footwear last night and these are the shoes I found that were the most comfortable. I like the Skechers Go Walk line and these are in that. Perfect for the summer to throw on. Famous Footwear is the cheapest I've found but the store by me doesn't have my size. I have a gift card to Amazon but they cost more and don't have my size. Zappos has them but they're $60 and I don't have a gift card to Zappos.
Lying on the couch at the moment - typical Friday night.
We took DS to the hipster barbershop we like for a haircut and then walked across the street from there to get pizza. It was a nice night and his haircut looks great!
I'm playing on my phone laying in bed and she is doing the same because we are in a hotel and DS is in the pack n play. So far the drive has gone well, fingers crossed tomorrow goes well too. There are three weddings, a prom, a 16th bday, and some soccer tournament all at the hotel this weekend. It is very loud.
We did some light potty training today and it went well! He asked to wear undies to bed, and when I explained why he couldn't, he asked if he could wear them tomorrow (and i will go peepee on the potty!). Huge win considering last week he wouldn't let me put them on him at all.
I am watching the SVU finale online because I missed it when I was in the hospital. The house is getting cold with all the windows open but it smells better and I feel marginally better now too. Tomorrow we are going to have to wash a bunch of the house though, just to make sure the smell doesn't linger.
Tomorrow we do P's newborn shots...I am so not prepared.

I would pay three times this price for these shoes.
I might also now own three pairs of them in different styles.
ssmjlmswizz I saw my daycare lady wearing some (not this exact style but Sketchers Go Walk) and was talking to her about them. She said when she was in Vegas in January EVERYONE had them on. So when she got back she had to get a pair. As we were talking another mom came up to pick up her child and commented on daycare lady's shoes too and that SHE has a pair and absolutely loves them. So then I figured I better go see what the fuss was about and that's why I went to Famous Footwear to try them on.
We looked at our budget and got the green light to start looking at minivans! I called the dealer that has my first choice, and apparently they don't transfer used cars between dealerships Hell to the no am I driving 2+ hours to go see it. So now I'm on the hunt for something closer. I called my second choice and they won't budge on the price, so I told them I won't come see it. We'll see if they call back with a lower price.
