You can eat some cactus (be careful of the needles).
It's fake, I checked, the 'plants' are stuck in that styrofoam type base, with green stuff glued on top. I'm glad it's popular though, I will keep it out:)
I love succulents...now. My mom gave me a huge pot of them 2 years ago. I didn't "get" them & just let them die. Now it's just an herb pot. I want my succulents back!
What's wrong with it? I love it. I love succulents though.
I don't know what succulents are, lol. You couldn't eat them b/c they're fake!
Wait a minute: That's a fake plant? I no longer think it's cute. I think it's a white elephant that you have to keep because she'll see it every time she's in the house and will notice if it's not there. I'm boggled that someone would give someone a fake plant and then decide if and where to display it. Do you have a guest bedroom? Do you have a cat that can blame for knocking it behind the dresser in the guest bedroom? That's where I'd display a fake succulent arrangement someone gave me.

Okay, I think I"m up-to-date now. I'm betting these are actually live succulents. Succulents can look fake and kind of plastic-y. I do love (real, live) succulent arrangements. My local garden shop sells vertical ones that you hang on your deck like a picture frame. I really really really want one. Like this, but I'd probably kill it over the winter:

Now you have me thinking fake again. Bit it's not unheard of for cacti to be in Styrofoam, actually When you buy them at a place like Home Depot
