So after washing eggs from the chickens and prepping another round of apricots from the yard for the food dehydrator, I loaded my basket sized puppy onto the bike and took her to the library and farmers market.
i feel so hipster, lol. If only we'd stopped for a latte at a local shop.
My good deed for the day. Found this cutie running around the neighborhood. No collar, but I always have a slip lead handy. After none of the dog walkers knew her, took her up to the vet who scanned her and found her mom.
Also, I judge. Mom was at work and didn't knew dog was lost. Which makes me think left in yard and escaped

Finally tapped my latest homebrew... my first out of our new kegerator! Hazelnut porter.... which is a strange choice for this hot weather but I don't care because it is freaking delicious!

Visited the Portland Saturday Market yesterday with my photography class. This is the only photo I've resized so far (decided it looked better in black and white)
Yesterday we went to Asbury Park for beer, Cuban food, and MH bought concert tickets at The Stone Pony. I also returned a couple things I'd ordered from Macy's, and went grocery shopping.
Today Amazon delivered our new Chromecast device so we're playing around with it. I got some nice stuffed pork chops from the butcher for dinner.
Worked on the new house all weekend. Today was painting the master bedroom and my calves are killing me from being on my tippy toes to get the cut ins at the ceiling.
We brought the dogs today and they slept all day but the excitement must have made them sleepy because they are fast asleep on the couch.
We opened up dh's first batch of home brew. It was pretty good! It had kind of an unintended cherry aftertaste (the flavour was "American light" so should be pretty bland) that he attributes to maybe too much sugar combined with low temperature yadda yadda I don't know. But I honestly kind of liked it. Happy accident! ETA : hmm my picture won't attach. Imagine a man victoriously holding two glasses of beer, lol.
Dinner with a friend in town from Utah, opening weekend at my new pt restaurant, and suffering from allergies at the beach. I kind of love rainy days at the beach. If only I could breathe and my head wasn't pounding.
the only downside? All of the chocolate shops close at 7pm, as do the wine shops. So we're decompressing in our hotel room with no wine or chocolate. Sad panda!
