To the guest bedroom. I thought she was super serious about actually leaving, but nope, just opened the door to the guest bedroom and said that is where she is living now. Since I don't love her any more, obviously. She is only 6 and is acting 15. Ugh
She is already back in her room. I was taking down her play tent in the living room and my head was inside it. She decided it would be a great idea to stomp on my foot. I am so over this. I am not looking forward to the summer and I was so excited for it.
Also, my mom ran away at that age. She got to the corner and had a little suitcase entirely packed with underwear.
I read this and pictured your mom running away as a grown adult and I was so confused. Lol. Like, yeah sometimes I want to run away, too, but why only underwear? Oy.
I ran away at 6, too. I got as far as the neighbor's house across the street. She came out and asked where I was headed, to which I replied-anywhere but my house! So she asked me to come in and fed me spaghetti. The sauce was terrible (because it was homemade, and we had only ever had jarred sauce!). So I decided to go home in the middle of dinner. I found out later my mom had called her and asked her to keep me from going any further.

Mia and Natalie made it to the edge of the lot next to us. Mia decided she hated what I was making for dinner. So she grabbed Natalie by the hand and was headed to grandma's house. Because Grandma would make them spaghetti.

Well I guess she showed you!
N packed her suitcase to run away once. It contained about 40 comic books, stuffed animals, sweaters, sweat pants, and warm fleece pajamas. It was August. She basically emptied her bottom dresser drawer. She wanted me to help her carry it downstairs, and I said wouldn't help her leave, but she was free to carry it herself.
So that was the end of that. After more dramatic crying in her room about how her life is the worst ever, of course.
