I've been nursing/pumping for just over 8 months now. I EPed for the first 3 months because of latch issues, and am so thankful that we were able to get back to BFing. For the most part, it's very easy now. He has, however, gotten into a reverse cycling sort of thing (teething or just distracted during the day?) and takes most of his milk between 10pm and 6am. I'd love to change that part.
nabum, I had to stop nursing and pumping entirely on one side due to nipple damage just before we had my son's ties lasered and pretty much dried up. To get production back up, I spent a long holiday weekend doing constant skin-to-skin, nursing and drinking nursing tea (Weleda brand), eating things like oatmeal, and staying super hydrated. My husband took care of absolutely everything else that weekend, including our older child, and my only focus was to walk around topless holding and nursing DS for three days.
Thanks for including pumpers Brie. 7+ weeks here and we are on our way home from our first road trip with baby. I bought a battery pack so I could pump in the car (trip is 6hrs without stops factored in). It worked well! Just used an Aden & Anais muslin swaddle over me and wore a nursing bra and top. I was able to keep up with his needs by doing this which made me happy!

Going on 6 months in three days. We're long past the anemia-induced low supply during the early months. Things are great now. Still hoping to make it to 24 years.
