I have to make a play list of movie theme songs. Good songs that everyone knows, not necessarily from amazing, artsy independent films.

So far, I've got:

Top Gun
Breakfast Club
Dirty Dancing

Maybe Unchained Melody from Ghost

I want some from eras other than early 90's/late 80's, but I'm drawing a blank. Yes, even on modern films. I thought about Mrs. Robinson, but that may be a slightly edgy reference for this crowd. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I put Rocky on there after I posted, just added Rainbow Connection (unsure if I'll use the Muppet version - I may!). Excellent suggestion of Grease and Footloose too!

Ghostbusters is SO in!

Titanic and Bodyguard are not. Sorry Whitney. Well, maybe she'll make the cut. I love Whitney.
