On the couch watching Talladega Nights for the millionth time. I need to get off my ass and do some laundry but I don't feel like moving!
Good day today - after big truck day, DS fell asleep in the car. Still went down for a nap and was in his crib for almost 4 hours since he was lying there for awhile before falling asleep. While he napped, I went out and ran errands. I think I picked out the wallpaper we'll use in baby girl's room!
Also, thanks to pugz and @marshmallows, I already have some stuff for the nursery! (Ignore the brown nightstand, that will be going in the basement).
One of H's friends posted a judgy thing on fb about a woman buying 5 lbs of butter at the grocery store. Is it just me or is that not actually an insane amount, especially if you were stocking up and freezing it for later?
Mmm, butter.
I should take a picture of all the butter in my fridge. We love butter so much.
We grill a lot during the summers and had our first bbq of the season today. I think DD enjoyed it! She ate grilled fish, chicken, gazpacho and watermelon. Did not like the grilled mushroom. With so much room to run around in the bbq area, it was so easy to keep her entertained too. Way less stressful than going to a restaurant. Thankfully my husband did most of the prepping and grilling.

I got a 30 min power nap in this afternoon. But I'm still so tired after not sleeping well last night due to pregnancy heartburn. Ugh, I am not prepared to the long term sleep deprivation coming my way in a few months.
The boys are going to bed soon and I'm most likely going to follow not too much later.
When can I expect boys tshirts to go on sale at HA? The 2 I've had my eye on are back in stock but not on sale. DS doesn't really need anything right now but these would last for awhile (he is in between sizes and I could get the bigger size).......

My goal tonight is for Chase to sleep in his crib until at least 10 pm. I'm so tired right now. I think I'll eat some ice cream then go to bed. We got home at 1 am last night and I never got a nap in today.
We had a load of mulch delivered yesterday. 10 yards does not look like that much at first, but we got half of it spread today and there is still a mountain of mulch in our driveway to finish spreading. I did get all the beds cleaned, weeded, and spread preen. My sister is here and kept DD1 entertained all afternoon.
She also brought some stools that I had ordered and had shipped to her C&B. I love them!
I went to the mall after M went to bed in an attempt to get more summer shirts for work. I left with weekend attire and a bunch of clothes for M. Oops.
I'm eating limited edition Oreo S'mores. They are delicious.
My friend and her son came over for dinner tonight and it was so nice for things to feel normal again. Hectic and crazy and messy, but relaxed at the same time.
We sorted through all CDs tonight to try and get ready for Q to start daycare Tuesday. So much diaper laundry is about to happen
I am lying in bed with an ice pack on my crotch. I am SO sore, you guys. Like someone took a baseball bat to my pubic bone. This did not happen with DD. I am 2 weeks from my c/s.
I printed off calendars for the summer today and wrote in all the activities we have to choose from. The calendar is packed. We've only registered for six of the play days and the kidsbowlfree thing, but it's nice to know we have a lot of options, but can also do nothing if we want to!

Mmm, butter.
I buy it at Costco and buy a number of pounds at a time. I freeze it though and it will last for a long time. I wonder how often I've been judged.
Oh my I must really be judged I buy 60-75lbs of butter a week!
I'm so sick of how H's family thinks everything J does and will do is because of MH. I'm pretty sure two people made the baby. H is talking to his dad on the phone and mentioned the tantrums J has started throwing and here comes the big speech about how H used to do the exact same thing. No, toddlers never throw tantrums. That is a specific act to H and J. ::eyeroll::

We had such a nice date night - we went to the fancy dine-in theater for Pitch Perfect and indulged in drinks, dinner and candy. Except that DS was really screamy for my ILs so now I feel like we better not try this again for a while! :/ He has been on poop strikes lately and his tummy seemed to be bothering him - but then he was smiley as soon as I walked in. Mama's boy.
We cleaned/tidied a bunch of stuff. It felt great!
We have basically accepted V's bedtime has moved from 7:30 to 8 for the time being. Things have been much more pleasant the last few nights because of it.
The employee who lost their baby came to visit. I'm not home but h said they were in good so spirits so i feel better.
My girls weekend was an epic fail for a few reasons. I did get lunch and a pedi out of it so win.
I'm back at my parents and it sucks. My mom isn't overly helpful my dad bitches about everything. its hot and messy. ds is currently shrieking. If he doesn't stop I'm debating driving home. It's late but at itd be quiet. A little solid sleep is better than all broken sleep.
I'm not in a good place lately. Neither are h and I. I need to get out of it. I just want to sleep for an entire day and have an hour where no one needs something for me.
OMG you guys. I just got home from a girls night out (first one in months) and apparently while I was gone our dishwasher burnt up! Thank God DH hadn't fallen asleep yet (he was in bed but still awake) or who knows what would have happened. I am freaking out a little. I don't know what I would have done if something had happened to them while I was out having fun I can hear DD stirring in her room on the monitor and I really just want to go wake her up and hold her.
