We are still moving. The actual movers come Tuesday, but DH used to own a business where they "tricked" out cars and boats. Wet have been loading rolls and rolls and rolls of upholstery fabric all freaking morning. I have no idea where all this crap will go.
Massive flooding in some Austin areas (not here, just super crazy wet), with yet another giant storm system coming through tomorrow. How is it for you guys bridgilly?
I had a dream that I gave birth to a baby girl. She was born a little early, sometime in Nov. I remember her weighing 6 lbs something. I was in awe of her! There was a lot of breastfeeding and pumping going on. I remember asking probies that were there in real life how often I should pump. So vivid. I remember dreaming of a little boy when I was pregnant with C.
Aww, so sweet!!
And I'm jealous. I've only had weird sex dreams. Lol

Took the kids to urgent care for this cold that has never ended in 3 weeks. Ear infections and sinus infections. Picking up antibiotics and hopefully they'll be feeling better soon, because it's been a long few weeks lol.

Back at the doctor. A has been screaming more or less for the last two days. I'm hoping they find something wrong because I'm out of ideas and patience.

I'm so sorry, love. I hope they can get him treatment that will work really fast. I will reinforce that you deserve sainthood.
TrudyCampbell to answer your question from the other day, yes I decided on a flower girl dress for DD! Or as she calls it, her "wedding dress". Lol. I would PIP but I still haven't figured out how to with the updated app, and it's kind of ruining my life.

I miss you, gorgeous. Just thought you should know.

I miss you guys. I hate feeling like I'm never around and have zero idea what's going on in people's lives. I'm also legit brain dead after this weekend. I rallied big time, but 2 nights of bachelorette shenanigans are quite enough for this old mama.
Because they pretend they're idiots. Last night Charles was tasked with heating up the fresh direct mashed potatoes. The directions are as follows: take off cardboard sleeve, leave plastic film in place, microwave for 2 min, let stand 1 min.
He pulls them out of the fridge and asks me what to do. I tell him to read the label (because he should be able to do this BY HIMSELF!!). He appears to read, gets out a fork and starts poking holes in the film. I ask him what he's doing and he just looks at me. Again I tell him to READ THE LABEL! He is a chess master. He went to Yale. He was a VP before 30. Yet somehow at home he acts like a moron. I do not get it!
Lol, sorry, I know it's frustrating to you. But thinking of Charles struggling with mashed potatoes cracks me up.
I had to read the post to DH and even he laughed.
jamaicam - that is so sad. Prayers for a full and swift recovery charlielove - I'm sorry for your loss racheliz - that is a lot of loss. I hope things settle down.
We visited my Dad this morning so we were late getting home for lunch and nap. Madison went in with DH for nap and then decided that she wasn't going to nap so he comes out with her. Um, what? No. I tell her it will be quiet rest time then. He says, "we'll see how this goes" and takes her in her room. Um, what? Make it work. I ended up going in and talking to her. She read for a few minutes and has now been napping for close to 2.5 hours. Sometimes you just need to work a bit harder.
Because its been raining all day, I'm at an indoor playground with w. The play structure could have been built like even 6" taller to better accommodate adults. There are lots of places that are a pretty tight squeeze for me!
I never understand why people are impressed when fathers can adequately care for their children.

LOL. My H does the same thing. He can draw a map of England by hand and put all the towns and whatever else in it. Give you a bunch of random facts ... Ye, he would do the exact same thing. They aren't resourceful sometimes. It's a resourcefulness factor.
I'm always telling him to stop using my brain as a crutch.

I think what kept it funny for me is his delivery. He knew it was bad and didn't pretend it wasn't. It was just so him - inappropriate and crude.
Oh. That I did like. How he was all joking that it going to be his last time there. As he started, I said to Mark that I think they just give him x amount of time and have no idea what he'll say. Lol. He pretty much proved that.
