I'm ordering coffee at a fancy place and thinking of getting a low fat mocha AND an iced coffee. Mmm coffee.
Ive had such low self esteem the past few days and I'm chalking it up to my period. I just feel like laying in bed, and of course we need to go t a wedding today.

I went to the mall with my mom and DD yesterday, and it was exhausting. My mom spent more on DD at Janie and Jack than I think I've spent on her clothes to date. And I got a great dress for me, and a sweater for DH.
But my resting bitch face wasn't working. Too many random people wanted to tell me how cute DD was. Lame, I know, but I hate talking to strangers! And DD was being such a flirt smiling at everyone, which just made them linger longer staring at her.
I really need to get moving. I am supposed to make a quinoa, black bean and mango salad for a BBQ today, but I need to go to the store. Instead, I sit here.
I slept horribly due to my pelvic aches from last night. Today might be long.

rugbywife you are brave to go to church so soon! I had to skip today because we have my nephews baptism this afternoon and I can barely get dd off my boob long enough to get ready for that let alone twice
I forgot to put on breast pads this morning and now my left breast has leaked through my shirt. Not only that, but because my boobs are huge and I sit poorly, I have a wet mark on my boob and on my stomach.
Did I mention I am in church right now? Like in the pew. I sent DH to get his hoodie from the car and a breast pad from the diaper bag in the nursery. I want to cry.
@choco I'm using the second anniversary of being in the house as our deadline too. I don't understand how some people have it so together!
When we moved into our current home, I planned to have a baby shower for my friend at our house four days after we moved. We got everything on the first floor unpacked and a few pieces of art hung up on the wall. Since then we have done almost nothing
I'm taking my older daughter (almost six) to a traveling production of Annie today. It's a matinee, so I'm expecting quite a few kids but I'm hoping she doesn't wiggle and talk through it. At Cinderella the movie she yelled at the stepmother. I love musicals so I hope she likes it! We're going to lunch first and making it a "date".

rugbywife hugs! You need to take it easy, you just gave birth! Go home and be couch bound the rest of the day. Put DH in charge of everything else. Who cares if he's in a bad mood. He is not recovering from birth!

Go home.
It's ok now actually, I got the pads on. Hopefully shirt dries a bit but if not I have the hoodie. Stupid rookie mistake. I complained in another thread that I have overproduction issues but then forget to wear pads?? Sigh.
Annoyed! My parents were over last night and took my coffee creamer?! Apparently my aunt is visiting and they needed some. They didn't tell me. So I make coffee this morning and no creamer! I look every where thinking I'm nuts and out it in s cabinet or something. Anyways My coffee was ruined! I mentioned it and my mom says, oh we took yours we didn't think You used it?! Lol who does that
Rage! Don't mess with my coffee. I wrote and deleted a scathing email to McDonalds this morning because DH got me an iced coffee and it was still warm so it melted all the ice and they put sugar in it. I hate when people screw up my coffee.

Call me MacGyver - I took apart parts of my vacuum cleaner that I didn't even know could be removed to get out a marker that was clogging it. A shocking amount of Cheerios had backed up behind the marker.

Stayed home from church because the baby and I caught DS1's cold. I was supposed to run the nursery today but I doubt the parents want a sniffly germy lady caring for their babies. Now I'm scanning through IG user lists trying to identify MMMs to follow. If you get a request from someone with "Elle" in their name, that's me!

We are on our way to the lake house. There are two bathrooms but apparently H gets stage fright or something so he complains for days about how he isn't going to be able to use the bathroom the whole time we are there (ps it's 24 hours and no one cares that you have to poop). So he spent over an hour in the bathroom today while I got us ready and now we are sitting in the grocery store parking lot while he tries again just in case? Omfg
I just did a practice pack for Mexico in 2 weeks. Lol. In my defense, I've never done just a carry on when flying and I'm a terrible over-packer. Also I needed to figure out what we need to buy in travel size.
I really like the compression folding accessories from The Container Store. I was gifted my set but know other brands make similar products. I've packed for 2 weeks in the UK in March in a carry on bag using them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I am seriously in awe of people who can get their house together so quickly after a move. I still don't have much up in our walls I need to order canvas prints and keep forgetting to do it. Good luck to you!
It causes me a lot of anxiety to have unfinished rooms. We have all the furniture but haven't found stuff for the walls and it's DRIVING ME CRAZY!
I'm putting my two weeks in at my part time job today. I'm a little freaked out about it, I've worked here almost 10 years. But it just sucks so much and I'm so sick of being bitched out about stupid stuff. I'm also sick of working 7 days a week and 50-60 hours. I'll probably save the money I won't be making anymore since I mostly just spend it here, lol. I just hope I don't chicken out. I have stupid guilt over it.

DD is obsessed with old home movies of me and my brother. She keeps screaming "baby mommy! baby mommy!" To be fair, I was freakin adorable
Also, this is the second day in a row she has slept from 8 p.m. until 9:30 a.m. Who is this child? All those in sleep hell take note: she didn't sleep through the night until 18 months but a year later she is my favorite!

I've finally started getting my small kitchen stuff out of boxes/storage. We moved in 8/2011. Granted, our kitchen didn't exist until 12/2013, but still...
I have commenced Operation Try to Look at Least Slightly Polished before going back to work.
I joined Weight Watchers since my clothes don't currently fit, got a haircut today, booked a highlight appointment, booked a keratin treatment (I am so excited!!!) and am about to schedule an appointment at the MAC counter for a very detailed makeup tutorial since I have no idea WTF I am doing when it comes to makeup.

Good luck! I just put on make up my first day back and afterwards have considered it a win if I have showered and brushed my hair. Thankfully enough of my clothes fit okay. I bought a couple of new things though.
