"The Clarks Rosamund Dune sandals offer suitability for women of all age groups owing to their classy design. An interesting combination of full grained leather and suede uppers designing the cross straps is nicely complemented by a combination of polyurethane midsole and TPR outsole with 2.67 inches heel for durable traction. The Clarks Rosamund Dune sandals for women also feature a synthetic sockliner and fabric lining for exceptional comfort."
Somehow the phrases "suitability for women of all age groups", "classy design," "durable traction", and "exceptional comfort" scream "these shoes are intended for women who are over 75."
That said, I do agree that they look somewhat better on.
I always struggle with this as I don't like many shoes in pics or when I'm browsing in a store, but then I see someone actually wearing them and really like them.
The pedi does a lot for their appeal. They look fine even with your jeans. That wedge would be an ankle risk for me.
I have a couple pair of Clark's (and Sofft, Danskos and even Ahnu), so I am no judge at all. I went out in public wearing white Birks this afternoon as if they weren't hideous..
