Things I loved-
Pretty much everything about the Wall plot. Sam and Gilly. Maester Aemon. Even fucking Thorne seemed to have a glimmer of humanity- reminding Sam that he's losing all his friends. Was that...a warning?
Kings Landing- margaery like a caged animal, Cersei smug right up to the end... Her expression while the High Sparrow was giving his architecture/sumptuary lesson is VERY familiar and relatable to me . And Olenna and the HighbSparrow was perfection.
Dany and Tyrion- ducking finally!!! I've been waiting for that forever! And I loved the fighters in the barracks, holy gladiator love
Even Dorne was improved for me, not least of all by Bronns singing-- finally another song!

Oh, duh, missed Winterfell. Ughhhhh Ramsay. And I for some stupid reason thought one rousing speech (complete with iron islands musical motif background music) would be enough r to turn reek back to Theon. So. Dumb.
Poor Sansa, but I can't wait until she stabs Ramsay in the neck.
This was the first scene that I didn't think the sand snakes ruined with cheesiness. Bronn should sing in every episode. And I'm with Myrcella, why would she want to go home to that mess?
You go, Sam!
I was wondering when the red woman would get to Stannis' daughter. Im curious to see how he'll go forward.
I enjoy the Ser Jorah and Tyrion show, but Tyrion and Dany had better get it together and kick ass as I expect thy will.

I was also tricked! Dummy.
I liked Bronn singing. I figured the poison needed to pump through his veins as an explanation for the nudity? Just because she was obviously manipulating him. I was surprised she gave him the antidote.
Marcella - u don't know my lyfe! Lol
Loved lf giving the Queen of Thorns info on Ceirse and the high sparrow scene. Finally!
Is Melissandre saying that Stannis needs to sacrifice his daughter? Or do they just need her blood? Didn't they just need blood from the other guy they were holding captive before?

I think she wants to sacrifice her. The leeches worked against less powerful leaders, but to conquer Winterfell and the the Long Night, something more drastic Needs to be done
Cersei's jailing was sweet; we were wondering why no one was playing the incest card. It'll be very interesting to see that play out.
Ugh, Winterfell.
Sam and Gilly are so sweet; I hope they do go south and get away. Another buddy road trip- Jon Snow and, uh, Erik the Red could be entertaining.
Finally Tyrion meets Dany! That fight scene was intense; her betrothed is a big yawn.
Dany must have rewritten the nudity clause in her contract, because she was carefully concealed in the bedroom scene, whereas her boobs were all over the place Season One.
The sand snakes are still the worst, but Bronn is awesome. Dorne isn't all that interesting to me; I'd rather see Jaime back home. He is going to flip his shit when he finds out what happened there.
Hopefully Melisandre will be out of the picture soon. You know she and the fanatical wife will push too far for the sacrifice of the daughter. I know it's GoT, but I don't see that sacrifice happening.

I was hoping maybe she would want a finger or something. Not that that would be ok.
Ok, another question. Did Reek take the candle to the Broken Tower not realizing that Ramsay would be there? Or did he take it elsewhere, purposefully to Ramsay?
Ok, another question. Did Reek take the candle to the Broken Tower not realizing that Ramsay would be there? Or did he take it elsewhere, purposefully to Ramsay?
I think he took it purposely to Ramsay. Ramsay was sitting there with a full breakfast in front of him; it seems unlikely he'd just happen to be in the broken tower waiting like that.
Using Reek's information, he tracked down the poor old woman. That's how I saw it, anyway. The shots of him walking with the candle and of the tower were misdirection, I think.

Yes, I think that's probably right upon reflection but when I watched it last night, I thought maybe Ramsay had set up his office in the Tower and Reek hadn't realized it.
I'm so over Theon now. I don't think there will be redemption for him. At this point I hope that Brienne just charges in and rescues Sansa - surely she is aware that Sansa is in a bad situation?
I was surprised at how they expedited the meeting between Dany and Tyrion. I'm really curious to see how all that plays out. Also, Cersei finally getting hers was very exciting!

I don't think a single speech from Sansa is enough to break Reek and bring Theon back. I think it's coming though. I really WANT him to be redeemed. And I know he's a favorite of the show runners.

I'm hoping that Brienne hears about the old woman being flayed - you'd think word would get back that trying to help Sansa is dangerous. That's the point if the public torture, right? There's supposed to be a fear/example aspect to it. Hopefully word spreads, and that kicks her into action.

Yeah, I really don't think Melissandre's suggestion is going to go over well. I hope she DIAF. Literally.
You know it's weird, for Sansa who is so abused to still be as bold as she is. She was stone cold when she was reminding Ramsey that he was a bastard, and that even the king legitimizing him didn't matter because he's a bastard too. She is just biding her crappy time until she has more backup and some boltons are going to die.
I watched the red redding and the episode after it last night with a friend who hadn't seen it. When Roose Bolton was watching over the slaughter of all of Robb's men outside the castle. North men from every family..... There is no way he can ever hold the north, there are too many people that must want him dead. I would think everyone except original house Bolton men would turn on him the first chance they got.

I'm actually glad they didn't have Reek/Theon get right to the heroics. It wouldn't have been in line with his character.
Putting aside the Ramsay/Sansa/Reek drama (I am super curious to see where that's headed in ShowLand), I really liked everything up at the wall. RIP Aemon; I'm sad to see his character go, but at least he got to die with some dignity. Sam and Ghost, awesome.
I loved the Gladiator-y stuff in Meereen and I really liked Daenarys and Tyrion meeting. I don't like Dany-Hizdahr, ugh that guy is such a bore. I also have issues with how they just showed Dany as squeamish to the fighting when, hello, she was "raised" in a khalasar. Although I guess there was decent background on her opposition to the fighting pits because of the slavery background...
I wonder how long Stannis is going to be stuck where he is now? Lol when Melisandre suggested the sacrifice, I was literally yelling, DON'T YOU DARE, STANNIS, NOT WHEN PEOPLE ARE FINALLY STARTING TO LIKE YOU. Seriously, Stannis, don't do it.
I loved everything about Margaery-Cersei-High Sparrow-Olenna. That last scene was exactly what everyone needed after last week.
How are there only three more episodes this season??

I hope Stannis throws Melissandre into a fire.
And Cersei...that smirk on her face disappeared very quickly.
Also, I've been thinking about Bran and how boring his storyline is and then I realized Bran might be able control the dragons by warging into them but I still don't understand why he's up north!
Aemon's death is the only death so far that I've truly found sad. When he was calling out for Aegon... :: tear ::
I love Sam and Gilly! I wish Ghost had torn those other two to shreds.
OMG I just realized he was calling for "Aeg." We watch with subtitles because I can't hear well. The subtitles said "Egg" and I was like "why does he care about Egg???"

Egg is Aegon's nickname. There is a series of prequels to a Song of Ice and Fire called Tales of Dunk and Egg that includes Aegon's story.
