We are at my parents with lots of family and kiddos. Bonfire picnic, fishing and golf cart riding all over my stepdad's property with my mom, sister and my hubby. One of the best days I've had in a long time. I adore my people . Headed to Michigan tomorrow and we can't wait. Lots to do and see.

I would come watch your kids in a heartbeat. I am on day 3 of a 9 day visit from my ILs. So far, we have done lots of eating and lots of tourist things. I actually really like my ILs, but I am not accustomed to the long visits where I have to be "on" all the time. My family isn't like that, so its different for me. DH doesn't really understand why I have to hide in the bedroom for 30 minutes once in awhile. Plus, it's like herding cats- there's no plan and no one can make a decision. My MIL has mobility issues, and everyone keeps wanting to do things with a lot of walking involved. So, it takes 5 times longer and everyone complains "how far" everything is.
Oh and no one really drinks, so this is all sober activity.
That was me today too. I got up with the kids while DH slept in. I then went back to bed when he got up and he got me Mcdonalds for lunch which helped. I don't even think I drank that much last night ugh
I spent Saturday with my parents in NC. I found a crack in one of the after market wheel on my car when I was washing it. That will be $300+ to repair.
Came home early Sunday morning and had my brother and fsil over for a cook out. We cooked way too much food and ate way too much that I couldn't even get a buzz. So no hangover at least.
My brother helped h get our fridge in from the garage...I am stupidly happy that I can actually use my own fridge in the kitchen again. It was too small for the last house.
This morning we got up early and cleaned out the garage and organized everything. So I'm super happy about how clean it is in there too. I spent the rest of the day finishing unpacking the kitchen. It only took over a week lol.
