1. What do you have planned this week? I ran 6 miles today, but I don't know what the rest of the week holds. My ankle is pretty sore, and has been for a few days, so it's currently in a brace.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? It went ok. I got my miles in but no time for strength or yoga.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries? See above. I'm hoping back off my harder workouts and hopefully the brace will have me back to normal soon.
I did my half on Sunday. I'm really happy with how it went, especially given the fact that I was undertrained and turned my ankle on Monday. I wanted to finish in under 2:30 and I finished in 2:27. I know that's really slow for a lot of you ladies, but it felt good and is my first half since the boys. This week is all about recovering. Yoga, elliptical and maybe a light run toward the end of the week.
I worked out twice, 2 miles and weights and 4 miles and weights. I'm definitely still struggling to fit it in with work and commute and kids but considering twice a success
I have the corporate challenge in a couple weeks (3.5 miles). I guess my goal would be 8 min miles but it depends on allergies. If the pollen is still bad I'm screwed, I can't breathe properly running outside right now
1. What do you have planned this week? I already ran 5k with the stroller yesterday and I'm planning 2 more runs. Hopefully a 5-6 mile tomorrow and whatever I can fit in on Thursday. It's all so dependent on Andrew sleeping.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? Last week went really well. I ran 3 times (3 miles with stroller, 5.5 miles and 6 miles). I was pretty psyched to get back up to 6 miles for distance.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries? Feeling okay. Just regular, nursing and holding a baby all the time soreness.
1. What do you have planned this week? Trying to fit in a Jillian shred workout every night after kids are in bed 2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want to AW? Ok, I managed to workout every other night, which is better than the grand total of workouts the previous week of 0. 3. How are you feeling? Any injuries? Pretty good, a lot less mushy feeling than before. My sister wants me to run a 5K with her in October. I'd like to try, but I honestly don't know when I'll get a chance to fit in running when I can barely make time for a 20 minute excercise video :/

1. What do you have planned this week? 5x run (24 miles), strength 3x
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? I was a bit lazy last week, but I got all my workouts and miles in. AW: My new half marathon PR!!
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries? Good. No injuries.
On a side note: I'm kind of bummed that the marathon I'm running in Sepetember doesn't have pacers...I was really, really hoping to stick with one the entire time. The website did say that they'll have pacer signs, so runners can line up with people hoping to run at that pace. I've NEVER kept track of my pace while running, aside from what mapmyrun does for me. I think I need a garmin, but I don't even know where to start with all the options. Plus I don't want to spend a ton of money. Can anyone recommend one?
I hope your ankle feels better, skwcm80. Did you do something to it, or is it just one of those annoying running injuries that pops out of nowhere?
It's one of those annoying running injuries. I've needed new shoes for a while, but the 10 mile run with them on Friday defintely made things worse. It feels well enough today that I don't need the brace this morning, but I'm still skipping my tempo run to be on the safe side.

I have a Garmin 210, but I only wanted a something that would keep track of HR, average pace, and splits. My friend has the 220, and as far as I can tell the biggest difference is that she never has to wait for her watch to find a signal.
I spent $150 or so on my watch, and my friend's was about $100 more.

I have an old school Garmin 205. I've had it since 2008 I think. I wish I could help! If mine ever quits on me, I can get various GPS watches for a discount through work, so I will probably weigh my options. I have nothing bad to say about Garmin though.
pinkpeony6210 I have the Garmin 405cx and I love it. It is quite large but it doesn't bother me. The reason I bought that one was because it was one of the only ones that used heart rate in its calorie burn equation back when in bought it in 2010.
Now you have me wanting to look at what is out there now! No! I just bought a Bob revolution, I can't justify any more running related costs right now. Lol. Other than new shoes.
1) I have nothing planned this week. I might go to yoga this weekend and maybe do some HIIT training, but I'm taking a couple weeks off before my FULL marathon training. AHHHH!! 2) I've already AW'd my half PR, but I'll AW again. I never thought I'd be under 2:30 any time soon 3) My achilles has been feeling a bit tender on and off. I think some rest will help it.

I'm still being a big ol' slacker. I did 4 miles with E on my back, through a hilly park, on Sunday. Then a 5K walk yesterday with E on my back and Eli in the stroller. I have got to get it together, y'all!

Damn girl! That is not being a slacker at all!!!
Haha it's ALL I've done in like, a month! I just can't seem to get it together. I'm being incredibly lazy and my diet sucks. I lost my motivation and can't seem to get it back

I'm back on the running outside kick. It's good because I can run futher, though I run slower. I don't mind running slower. I'm making it my goal to do 2 miles twice a week.
C25K...it works Seaside 5K...........40:45(2012) Turkey Trot..........41:30(2012)/37:08(2013)/37:40(2014) St Pat's 5K..........39:27(2013)/38:48(2014)/35:12(2015) Belair Town Run......38:09(2013)/36:27(2014) Back To Football 5K..37:36(2013)/43:44(2015) Balt Run Fest 5K.....34:59(2013)/41:50(2014)/35:54(2015)

Right?! I was trying to figure out when the slacker part was coming.

pinkpeony6210 I have the garmin forerunner 110. It's pretty basic, and only tells you the pace for the current mile (not the pace for this current moment) but that's fine for me.
It's small enough that it doesn't look ridiculous, just looks like a regular watch though of course is a bit bulkier than a watch. It takes a while to get a signal but this is the only gps watch I've ever had so I have no idea if it's a normal amount of time or not.
My plan this week is do do PiYo (did sweat this morning) and day two and 3 of week four of C25k. I am hopefully doing it after work today.
Last week I was kind of s slacker and just did c25k but I finished month one of insanity max 30.
I am feeling good. I feel like my body is getting good at jogging. I am breathing better and my legs are moving. I was so proud of myself on Sunday when I did two five minute runs in the c25k training. I will hopefully be able to run a 5k on the Fourth of July in my town.
