It's the 2 hour finale! So far Farrah has introduced her daughter to her bf. She was being bitchy to Sophia while getting ready. I wanted to smack her. I wish she could just act like a normal adult.
carrotsmakemefat are you watching? I'm so grossed out that Amber and her bf took her daughter to a hotel with sex rooms. Eww there are mirrors on the ceilings!
Farrah's scenes makes me cringe so hard! Her voice, fake smiling all the damn time, disciplining Sophia too much and then not enough. It's too much to handle!

She is unbelievably unstable! Her voice and strange smile are so bizarre. I get so uncomfortable watching her.
One part of the show I did like was when Ryan was praising Maci's bf (forget his name already), and saying what a good guy he is. It's nice that at least one person on the show isn't bitching about their ex's SO.

Yes! I feel like she's only one second away from a complete breakdown or something. It's odd.

Why is Sophia only in a little booster seat in the car? She must be older, bigger than I thought. I would think she should still have a booster with a back.

In a couple shots, she wasn't in a car seat, and was laying down. It drives me nuts that they are all so lazy about car seats! I so wish it was addressed at some point.

Omg. I just saw that. Not ok.
I don't understand how MTV thinks it is ok to show children in such dangerous situations without acknowledging it. I haven't seen anything every brought up in regards to it. I've been a car seat nazi since my kids lives were saved by theirs. #thingsthatenrageme
Simon is just not that into Farrah. (And for good reason). She acts like a crazy psycho around him, she gives off a very strong air of desperation. He could not have gotten out of that car any faster to fly back to San Diego. Also, apparently his last relationship ended in a restraining order against him for abusive behavior. SMH. Oh and also, according to Farrah, waiting 2 years to get engaged is for "ugly girls." LOL forever. ALSO, I was cringing so hard at all the lack of safe driving going on there - Simon's texting, Sophia not in a car booster thing/laying all over the back seat... I also kind of sided with Simon on the whole him sitting in the back seat thing - Sophia should not be dictating where he's sitting, if he wants to sit up front, he should sit up front.
I know that Farrah's Mom and her have a very rocky past, but I feel like she's always Farrah's scapegoat for whatever is going wrong in her life.
My heart sank a little for Tyler, Catelynn, and April upon hearing that Carly wouldn't be at the finale.
$159k bought a really nice house for Maci/Taylor, looked like a nice lot, too. I thought for sure he was going to pull out a ring at the end.
Amber - I was so sad for that poor little girl, if she's SICK, she needs to be at home, not dragged to some love shack hotel!!!!! OMG! She clearly was feeling miserable. WTF Amber??! I think she's going to wind up getting burned by this guy, Matt. Love how she somewhat realized how the words "he hasn't been paid yet" sounded the second time it came out of her mouth, after her brother mentioned it. Hmm.
So I watched this show a few years ago and had to stop, because they were all hot messes and it made me so sad/angry every time I watched. I caught an episode a few weeks ago (before Farrah was back on), and I was so impressed with how far they had come and how they had matured. Even Catelynn's Mom! So I started watching again. But now Farrah's back on and I'm back to wanting to throw things at the TV. I think she wants to lock a guy into marriage as quickly as possible because it's hard for her to reign in the crazy for long periods of time. That, and it will help counter all the "porn star" talk.
I might move to Tennessee now. Is that their version of settling? Didn't Maci mention that if they bought a house before they baby was born, it wouldn't be all that great?
I'm going to need at least one of these girls to actually do something. It seems like all they do is hang out at home, sit on the couch, and go out to eat. Working with MTV looks like a nice paycheck with minimal effort.
I felt for Sophia when she was taking care of the dogs and Farrah was yelling at her. Sophia is really craving attention, mixed with the shitty mother she has, it's no shock she was acting out towards Simon in that manner.
I think it was a terrible idea to introduce Simon to Sophia, it's a no-brainer that he will be out of the picture soon, I'm surprised he didn't tuck and roll at the airport to get out of that car quicker. Give Sophia 10 more years of living around Farrah and we're going to have a Farrah x10....it's not going to be a pretty picture.
Now is the time that Farrah needs to be a good parent towards her daughter and it's sadly not happening. Even Debra is a poor example to live by and the grandfather is a doormat so there's really no one else to step in to help that poor child.
You also have to think back to Derick's family, I'm sure seeing their niece and granddaughter on MTV is the only chance they get to see her which is sad.
I'm getting a little bothered by Theresa keeping Carly at arms length, there has to be more going on behind the scenes between those two families. They don't see each other very often and to say she needed time away from her family by leaving Carly at home was a lame excuse. She by no means is obligated to bring her anywhere, it is her child but I'm just saying her excuse is full of holes.

Yes! Whenever there's abusive behavior, they air a little PSA about "if you or someone you know is being abused, contact xyz..." They could do similar snipits about car seat safety, etc. The car seat misuse is atrocious in the entire Teen Mom/ 16 & Pregnant series.

Exactly! I was trying to put that thought into words, and my brain isn't working today to do it properly. I really feel they have a responsibility to address the safety issues.
