cabs I can't help but giggle. Are you happy that your DH is all done? I loved the pic of him holding Andy up in the air.
It is pretty funny lol! I am surprised this was the first time! And yes, I am happy! He still has some clinical work to make up, but not really much left! Now, we wait to see where we end up! EEEEKKKK! And thanks, I love the Andy pictures with him in the air too! He was so cranky at that point that it was the only way to get him to smile He loves his dad so much.
Ahhhh, I am gonna send your eyeliner tomorrow. I forgot it! Sorry!!!
i love that picture too. At first I thought you were talking about a cranky DH, then it hit me that the baby was cranky.
I'm the one with the cranky DH. I'm cranky too, but it's from living between two olds who are fighting since one can't renovate her house and the other wants to buy it and renovate it to rent it for a small fortune. I'm on Team Buy. Creepy lady keeps looking through my windows and acting like I don't exist. She stops DH to talk constantly. She also insists on keeping poison ivy on her side of the fence. I cut it on our side and spray it with pesticide while she feeds it. Stahp! You can replant the four plants you kept and kill the poison ivy already. I will replace them!
I can't sleep again. My Dr. appointments are great and always get told I am right on target with the baby growth. I felt good walking out because they tell me I look great. Then I go to work and stupid man CW volunteers his comment.. You look like you are ready to POP! All I can do is walk away SMH thinking, "Um, no I am not and STFU! Who asked you! Ugh!"
I left half of G food at home today. Mommy brain is baaaaad. I'm lucky to get 4-5 hours of disrupted sleep a night. I go to bed at 9pm almost nightly. I just want a solid 6 hours.
Anyone else online shop when they can't sleep? I just ordered these from Kohl's.. this is my late night shopping since I haven't been able to fall asleep yet!
Oh cab1217, I remember doing something similar. I had an office before I left to work from home. I would pump in there and open my door when I was done. At least one occasion my nursing tank was out of whack and you could see that it wasn't put back together. I don't know how to describe it but I had a male co worker come in and talk to me and then leave before I realized. He was clueless so I'm just hoping he couldn't tell and figured it was some kind of fashion he hadn't seen before. HAHA!
I am lucky if I get 4 hrs of sleep! Ever since DS was born 4 yrs ago DH, DS or I or haven't STTN at all. Add a newborn to this madness in less than 2 months. I won't have OOTDs anymore since I will be mostly topless.. and nursing haha!

Borrow a lacrosse stick to hit him over the head with next time. I think you are justified.
I shop when I have insomnia. DH has learned not to ask and just go with it.
Guess who walked out of her office with her shirt up after pumping?
At least it was just my boss and another female co worker who saw. But dammit I walked outside to the bathroom like that! OMG.
Oh no! I was always worried about this. I have a small mirror on the wall next too my door that was at boob height that I would check before I walked out. Maybe you can hang something similar. Nobody noticed it. Or if they did they never said anything. LOL

Ha! I don't have to borrow. DH is a Lacrosse coach so I will just take his to work.

I meant to borrow one from your DH! Lol! No HR at this point would see anything wrong with it since you work with scientists. I know. I'm married to an oblivious one. He knows better than to speak in those situations. There's a reason his nickname is Silent _____. He also works in an industry with quite a few women which helps.

I made a lateral move to QA from QC so I don't have any CW on my shift.. the only ones that I deal with now are the assembly line workers and they don't know any better unfortunately.

DH works thirds in hospital pharmacy to avoid others. It gives him no coworkers, 7 on/7 off, and extra vacation. It works without kids. He still gets invited to the parties, but works 5 tens and 2 twelves alone every other week.

Aww cab1217 that was always my fear. I never did that at work but I almost greeted the UPS man that way one day when I was finished nursing. I just don't even feel when I am all hanging out it is such a normal part of my life.
DH got me a fitness tracker because i want to get in better shape/lose a little weight before IVF.
except my current motivation is if i finish 30 days of my workout DVD, i'm buying this bracelet for my tracker, lol
If you got the jawbone, send me a message so we can be friends. Using my fitness tracker was huge motivation for me and I was surprised at how quickly I was able to reach my weight loss goals. Hopefully that bracelet is good motivation for you! Good luck!

Where is this from? I love it!
it's the new Swarovski line for misfit.
this is my tracker, a misfit shine.
the big crystal on the bracelet I posted is also a tracker, but it's more $$ than mine was....and I don't want blingy ALL the time. but I think my tracker will look so cute in the Swarovski bracelet! they also make necklace and other bracelets it fits in.

I finally found new drapes for the great room!! I needed 120x100 and didn't have a $3000 budget for the 6 windows :/ I stopped in the Restoration Hardware outlet yesterday and found some gorgeous white stonewashed linen panels for less than $100 ea. I plan to pleat them and hang them in ring clips but that will have to wait until I can find some spare time. Next thing to go is that hideous light fixture... Before: After: (with one panel shoved out of the way for the doggie door) My inspiration:

ditzydi- I've hated that light since we looked at the house but haven't found anything that I love to replace it either. Unfortunately a ceiling fan would be the best thing as that room is on the west side of the house but I really dislike fans and they don't ever have good lights in them so I would still need more lighting solutions.
I also want to find a great console table to put on the wall that's behind/parallel to the sofa. I could put a lamp or two there as well as a big mirror behind it to help with the light even more. You know how new houses are! There's always an improvement or project...

Always.
Tell me about it! I need a bathroom ceiling painted, a guest room cleared, a closet rebuilt, and a piano for the living room according to DH. I want a cloud and a flat screen in the room. Plus, we need a backyard makeover.

A piano? Wow. That's not something you hear husbands saying they want very often. Usually it's the flat screen and the backyard makeover. Ha.

He taught himself to play and it relaxes him before work. He refuses to bring the small electric one here (he keeps it at the emergency work apartment) and insists on a full size. I actually like grabbing a drink and listening to him play piano over four hours of breaking pool balls by himself since I suck. He plays Adele, John Legend, and most of the pop stuff. He's not bimbi284's DH by any means. Pool is so loud that I make him yell "Break!" or I literally jump off the couch or scream. He hates TV and most of our friends are musicians. We had a concert with amps, mics, and Keith Urban's bestie for a housewarming. A piano would have got us a better set! Our yard is tiny. We have a reel mower and that takes 20 minutes. We're eventually hoping to rip our garage out for a flat roof to get a roof deck and put a slanted roof over that for more outdoor space. Urban life. I like the free concerts, neighborhood distillery, and walking distance to just about everything, but yards are not sprawling.
