He's one of our favorites - we are seeing him at Red Rocks next week. I'm still so sad that he and Mandy split up. You should download!
is it true he doesn't like it if people are late? (I love my friend, I love my friend... she's making a fuss about getting to the venue by 8pm which is the time the concert tickets says)
He used to be really unpredictable live. He would flip out when people would yell things (usually the idiots who would request summer of '69) but I *think* he has chilled some. I haven't seen him in 2 years though.
I've been seeing him for over 15 years now. H and I were introduced to our wedding guests to one of his songs. He played it the next night at a show here that we were at. I think its because I was holding up a huge sign
He also fell on top of me midshow about 8 years ago when he used to be a big partier.
seriously? lol that he added it to his set list. i love this guy!
It was a peace offering of sorts to Nashville. He sang it in the theater that the original story is told about, 13 years later. I don't think he's adding it to anymore set lists
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
confession: I was about 30 seconds away from making a Ryan Adams AE and popping by to say hello.
'cause that wouldn't be obvious or anything! lol
I know! I should have pretended that I'm like bff's with Mandy Moore and spill non-existent dirt on how RA will go months only rinsing his hair and buys pets exclusively from puppy mills.
Until I met my friend, I had not. I do sometimes live under a rock of sorts. Didn't he start out quite country-ish? We don't listen to country in our house. I understand he's gone a bit more alternative now. I'm looking forward to the concert. I've never been to a concert of someone I wasn't a huge fan of already before so it'll be fun!
I wouldn't call him country. Maybe alt country if you're stretching it. I'm not a big music person and I've known who he is for 15 years. I enjoy his music but seriously question his hairdo.
