Welcome and Congrats!
I have a cheap one from Amazon. I usually had luck, but sometimes didn't catch the HB, and worked hard not to worry. I haven't used it since I've been feeling movement. (16 weeks ish).
Be careful with these, it might be more stress than they're worth.
I thought about getting a Doppler, but ultimately decided against it. It often took the midwife up to 2 minutes to find his heartbeat since he moved around so much, so I can only imagine how long it would have taken me to find it. I decided I couldn't take the stress/worry if I couldn't find it myself.
I got the cheap Angel Tones one, and it's been worthless so far. I am 21 weeks and have yet to hear anything, I try it out maybe every other week. We found out at the anatomy scan that I have an anterior placenta, which can impact the ability to pick up the heartbeat, so between that and it being cheap, I will probably never hear it!
I know it's hard. I had a prior MMC where we heard the heartbeat and went in for another ultrasound and it was gone. But honestly, if I kept trying it now and couldn't hear anything, I am not sure if the doctor's office would let me come in just for that, if there wasn't another issue - spotting, etc.
Hi and welcome! I'm so sorry about your previous loss.
I thought about getting an at home doppler early on, but decided that since I was already extra worried, since I had a MMC last summer, if for some reason I couldn't find the heartbeats (which I don't even know if I would ever be able to find both), I would panic. I chose not to go through with the purchase.

Welcome & congrats!
My friend gave me and Angel Sounds Doppler she used. I just started using it this past week (12-13 weeks) and have been able to hear the HB, but knew that it's still early and I might not have been able to find it. I didn't have one with my first because I wa a afraid it would make me crazy, but I really like having the reassurance now. My daughter is almost 4 and I let her listen the other day and she was amazed. I think it retails for around $40, maybe less, it's nothing fancy but it seems to get the job done.
