I took tomorrow off (well swapped my Monday for my Friday) so it's my Friday!
Still so much more to prep for the boys party unthink we will end up abandoning most of our projects bc there just isn't enough time on sat to set up everything
Mass moms if you want to stop by on Saturday please pm me for our address! The boys would love to meet your kids
More than enough food booZe and treats and bounce house fun!
It's taking a lot of me not to comment on some stranger's post on a friend's wall. "That's what is so great about having your second child. Your true parenthood comes into play and you feel even more like a mom."
Sorry guys, I'm gonna show myself out, because being a parent to only one child doesn't really count ?

Remember how I AW'd the other day that my child finally has a lovey? Well, we just had our first meltdown over it and it was the cutest thing everrrrr. We had dinner at BFFs house last night, they live an hour away. So we put her to bed there so we could stay late and make the most of the drive. We remembered to bring her bunny there and all was good. She went to sleep fine. She stayed asleep from friend's bed to car and then car to her bed fine. But when we got home we left bunny in the car. She was conked out so we just said fuck it, and left it out there once we realized. Well she just woke up (this is not her normal wake up time) screaming out for bunny. I tried to go in and convince her to snuggle another stuffed animal and she flipped. DH had to run out to the car. She's back asleep now and all is good. Haha. Again, I don't know why this excites me so much, but it's just so cute. Haha.
lauranicole91 that's cute! Now run out and but backup bunny! unclejesse I wish I had a good retort for this clod! teamhayes Good luck with the party!
Haha, yes!! DH is now officially convinced he needs to buy a back up. The original came from his work, so his mission today is to buy another one! Haha.

W is in a trike a thon this morning. He has been really excited and has even practiced at the playground. Yesterday, one of the teachers told him that everyone wins and he is crushed. "I don't want everyone to win! I want to win!" I guess he got a little of my competitiveness!
I don't understand why Wawa doesn't have iced decaf. I'm forced to make it myself which ends up really watery with all of the ice and hot coffee. Why is this too much to ask, Wawa?!?!
Despite the heat last night, everyone here slept like a rock. It was nice. I actually feel rested for the first time in a while, but I really wish my back would quit aching.

The brace should get to you tomorrow! I'm glad you all got some good rest though!

I feel like even more of a cook when people come to my house and I have to cook double the food then I feel like even more of a housekeeper when there's twice as much mess as usual to clean up. But at least I feel like then I am TRULY a cook and housekeeper you know? That's when I feel truly alive, scraping food off 6-8 plates instead of just 3. The other days don't even count

Dylan has kindergarten orientation today. My baby sitter flaked on me so now I have to leave Lyla at daycare until after orientation. I hate doing that!

It's that time of year again when H just randomly disappears. It's so frustrating! He is outside and then, it's time for supper or time to put the kids to bed, or time to go somewhere and he is just gone! And it's not like 5 minutes. It's like hours! The best part is, he usually doesn't take his phone with him!

It feels like Friday to me, I wish it was.
Annabelle still has a fever, but my mom came to town to take care of her. Early FFFC, Annabelle slept in her pack n play in our bathroom last night. I am guessing some people would think that is flammable? Its a big bathroom, and the toilet is in a separate room. But that way my mom could sleep in Annabelle's room instead of on the couch. She doesn't sleep well if she is in the room with us. This won't be a problem when we move to the new house (4 bedrooms, yay!)
We are having issues with our mortgage guy being a jerk. I hope to get it resolved today, I wouldn't have any problems going to another bank (we have two other pre approvals) but if I go with the jerk I get $5K in closing costs (its through the company that built the house).
It's my last day of work for the summer! It's an inservice day, so I just need to go to my schools and wrap things up and say goodbye. I gave my notice yesterday and it went better than expected. My supervisor was sad to see me go, but understood. She can be difficult to deal with at times (from what I've heard, so I'm glad it went well. I'm looking forward to being in a school district without a budget crisis- I've been on edge since December with talks of cutting positions in my department.

What? Where does he go? I think I would go into sheer panic if DH did this. The panic would turn to anger.

Whaaat? Where does he go? I would probably call the police if my husband did that!

Usually he is at a neighbor's house. Like he sees them outside and goes over to chat and they end up in their house looking at something or in their garage fixing something.
I would love for him to disappear AFTER the kids are in bed so that I can watch whatever I want!

We're supposed to go play at my friend's house this morning, but it's raining and I kind of don't want to get out. But then I also don't want to stay in all day. Decisions, decisions.
