H and I had decided to take a break from trying this month because I had to be put under to get my wisdom teeth out, and I also had a dentist appointment with gas. I randomly decided to test today (af should have shown up last night/this am, and I thought, what better to start it than trying a test, lol). Sure enough, BFP. My paperwork from the oral surgeon said not to undergo anesthesia if pregnant, and my appt would have been about 2-3 dpo. How bad is this? I want to be excited but I'm a little terrified. I should just call my ob/gyn in the morning right? Or is it too early to really tell anything?
Now about your concern....If it was 2-3 dpo, your baby would not have even implanted yet. I highly doubt this would cause any issues. I understand being worried, though, as pregnancy can be a nerve wracking experience for some of us. Call your ob just so they can reassure you.
Thanks guys. of course, today is the day mh is working super late. Haha. It does feel good to tell someone, haha. Thanks for the reassurance, I'll call in the morning and see what they say.
I had foot surgery with anesthesia and a ton of pain meds a week after ovulation with DD1. No one was concerned at all. My doctor looked at me like I was nuts when I asked if it was a concern. Don't worry about it.

Well my doctor already knows I'm crazy, so luckily there should be no surprise. Haha. Thanks you guys! I'm starting to come around to the idea that it might be real. Lol.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Congrats! I had to have emergency surgery under general at 6 weeks and I was terrified but everything was fine. I think they just take an abundance of caution with pregnant women on this stuff.
Thank you, everyone. I'm calling my OB today, although I think I need to fins another one since the hospital he delivers at isn't a preferred one for my insurance, but I want to at least ask him because I like him. Haha. I will be checking back for your BFP's and keeping all my crossables crossed for you!
