My sister is looking at a sectional from Bobs. I went with her to sit on it. It was pretty comfortable and very well priced. I am skeptical. How well does their furniture hold up?

We bought Ellie's mattress from there when we converted her toddler bed into a full size bed (no way in hell were we buying a 4 year old an expensive mattress) and it's been great. It's not fancy but it does the job.
It definitely holds up! When I moved out, I left stbx with a bed we bought in 2004, a couch we bought in 2006, and a dining set we bought in 2008. It held up so well that 90% of the furniture in my new apartment is from Bob's (the rest is stuff from Amazon I put together myself, lol).
I must be buying the wrong Bob's stuff. We bought our dining room table and chairs there and the first one arrived scratched and partly peeling. They fought with us about just replacing a part instead of sending a new one, but finally agreed to send a new one. The new one is just over a year old, and the finish is starting to peel.
I had a sectional from Bob's about 10 years ago that I liked quite a bit, it was comfortable and held up (structurally) well. It was also delivered damaged (tear in the fabric between cushions). The "goof proof" repair solution was to send a guy with a needle and thread to sew it up.
So, maybe it's the crew that delivers to my neck of the woods?
For the past year, I've had a microfiber sectional from bobs. Comfy, cleans easily (cat hair and cat puke) and holding up well. Before this one, I had a cream colored leather couch from bobs for about 4 years. It was so beautiful, I loved it. Unfortunately when my cats were kittens, they scratched the hell out of it. No fault of the couch. I'd still have it if my cats weren't jerks when they were tiny. I ordered both pieces from the discount section--discontinued I believe.

We have DD #1's bed frame (it's a headboard/footboard trundle) from there and DD #2's mattress. I was very impressed bc the bed came chipped on one post and they came out to fix it and told me it was actually damaged underneath where I NEVER would have seen it. They replaced the entire thing at no charge. It's held up great now.
The mattress was cheap but is comfortable and perfect for a 3-year-old. No complaints at all.

I think their couches hold up well, in my experience. I also have one of their gel/foam beds and I LOVE it. I do agree with the PP that their dining room furniture is not so good. The table I got there is okay, but the chairs are horrid. The padding has completely flattened out and the "leather" has ripped in places. It's not quite 3 years old.

That stinks. Just a tip that may help someone else or you in the future - when we've had furniture delivered I inspect it and don't accept delivery if there is ANYTHING wrong with it.
We bought a leather couch and recliner that were total crap. But, I previously purchased a fantastic couch from Macy's and Bob's was carrying it a few years later. It was great quality.

I also have a couch from there. Though it is 5 years old it looks like it is absolutely new. Of course I haven't tested it with pets as I don't have them (I'm allergic to wool) but I have two small kids who like jumping and playing on it all the time! ))) I prefer to buy such things at trusted places. Also I like bespoke furniture - I furnished my home office there and I'm also satisfied by their quality. So, I sure, your sister won't regret about this purchase!

The furniture looks beautiful on that site! Do they have an American counterpart. It looks like all the prices are in pounds.
