Ugh. I have seen a few in the last couple of days - dead thankfully - but I hate when it really heats up and they go searching for dark cool places to hide. Like houses.
It's been interesting to see all these different bugs around since moving to Florida. There are so many worms and they're slow and seem to sometimes magically appear in the condo. So strange.
Side note: I saw a preview for a Hoarders episode last night where an entire room was filled with mice. I recorded it. Because I need to see that.
I had an upstairs neighbor who literally had an entire studio of mice. After moving in we noticed there were mice everywhere. I would hear them in the walls and ceilings when I slept Finally the landlord was able to get in touch with a relative of the offender mouse lady after she refused to open the door. She apparently had some MH issues which including hoarder- specifically hoarding of food. The family hired an entire cleaning crew and when they arrived and opened the doors hundreds, fucking hundreds of mice run down the steps out the open front door. Her apartment had to be condemned. Imagine the most disgusting place on Earth that was it. : shutter:

Worms? In the house? I don't know what this is and I have lived in FL my entire life. LOL.

Yes! Not sure where you are, but we are in Boca. DH has seen them at his work as well.
WTF? Did he tell you how to prevent it? I run a bleach/hot cycle in mine a couple times a month for sanitation. I hope this kills potential roach infestations? *runs screaming*

Like... earthworms? We definitely don't have worm infestations in north FL. Though I would take those over the giant spiders.
DH saw a tree roach on his windshield yesterday morning. He came back upstairs to get my car key because he refused to drive the roach car to work. And he asked me to take it to the car wash. Roach car is totally fine for me to drive. Wuss.
WTF is up with roaches and ants in the south? GA had a huge issue last year with both.
Roaches are pretty common. Both the smaller kind and the larger flying kind (palmetto bug).
I routinely spray my baseboards and door jams.
My H did not know palmettos flew. One came in the house and he tried to catch it. I thought I was going to pee from laughing so hard. He ran away flapping his arms and screaming. Ah... Good times.

My H legit fell down the stairs with one chasing him once.
Ugh. ROUTINELY SPRAY. But then it sucks too because you find them dead instead. LOL.
