Raising Cane's. But that was at 5:00 when DS started whining he was hungry while we were out running errands. DH doesn't get off work until 10:30; I may be calling him to pick something up on the way home.
we decided to have a post-bedtime adult dinner of salad (with blue cheese and pear...OMG the pears are soooo good right now!) and a shit ton of delicious fancy cheese, apples and fresh bread. Oh and cocktails. Friday night y'all!
Don't worry, I fed DD a real dinner (quesedilla w/cheese and broccoli and some black beans with kiwi for dessert) earlier.
We went out for barbecue, and I had pulled pork. This was the first meal out where J was wide awake and alert for the whole thing, so I was kind of nervous, but he just smiled the whole time. It was fun....and delicious!
we had something my mom made called 'spanish rice' that included rice, ground beef, tomatoes, cinnamon and cheddar cheese. At least I didn't have to make it.
Leftover pot roast with roasted kale sprouts. And I opened a Kirkland Rioja. It's remarkably good. Like, I'm picturing myself putting it in decanter to serve at parties. I don't think I would put the Kirkland bottles out. But, it's really good!
