We read a couple books before bed. We read Guess how much I love you, Spot loves sports, and then J brought me over P is for Passover. I LOLed. It's actually really cute and it will be helpful when he can understand our religion.
We have a book about finding the afikomen.
I think we do too. We have a couple books for the holidays.
I'm done with all my chores and enjoying a beer on the porch. DH only needs to do a few things that might take an hour total but he is procrastinating big time.
FIL arrives tomorrow and I'm really excited to see him. We haven't seen him since Christmas and he hasn't seen the house yet so it should be fun.
I think we've turned a small corner with feeding DD! She's being more receptive to trying and eating new foods. Her new favorite thing is cheddar-chipotle tortilla chips and she far prefers savory foods to sweets. We went out to a casual dinner dinner tonight with the the IL's. She surprised us by eating zucchini fries. She also ate other stuff and even took a few sips of a milk shake. I am leaving tomorrow morning and I wish I could just lap baby her along. It was so tough to feed her just a month ago, and it's a bit less stressful now.
A mother of a 7 month old in the restaurant asked me to borrow a diaper. I gave her 2. DD is size 4 and apparently so was her kid. Physically they looked the same size except DD is obviously taller at 18 months. She's my little string bean!
My mom and I decided to head out after dinner and do some shopping. I would like to thank Loft for their vanity sizing as I somehow fit into a pair of 12p pants despite the scale not budging.
Also while we walked around the downtown earlier today I fell in love with a pair of Lilly sailboat shorts, but they're pricey and I'm not sure I have enough tops to match.
I've been in such a funk lately. I'm just bored at work and I want a different job but it would be hard to give up the flexibility and time off I have now. Anyway, I had the day off and sent the kid to daycare and did nothing all day. Having wine and popcorn for dinner. Bedtime wasn't as bad as it has been lately so now I'm watching old episodes of ER.

My kids are probably getting too used to playing in our pool naked. They are going to be in for a ride awakening soon when we start having pool playdates with friends this summer and they have to wear swimsuits.

Had to pick up M at daycare today because he had a fever. First time I have had to do that which made me realize how freaking spoiled I am by having my nanny.
DH was telling me that one of his coworkers has a 4 month old girl and another one of his CWs said to him, "You are going to keep trying till you have a boy!" and I think the guy just kind of nervously laughed. Then he said something like, "What would you rather do, toss a football or go to tea parties?" My H intervened and said something like "You know girls can throw footballs, too, right?" @starry
DH is nesting. lol Today, he put the crib together, got the dresser delivery, did multiple loads of laundry, and decided that we needed to buy a rug for DD's room tonight. Okay. Fine, I picked one out and ordered it. At least I got 20% off at PB, so it wasn't as painful as it could have been.
I am getting a massage tomorrow and I can't wait! I really need it.

Went to splash park after work with a bunch of daycare buddies. Dinner with five kids under 4 went as well as expected. Manager opened up private room and told us kids could roam free in there lol

We have a book about finding the afikomen.
PJ Library? We have the same one.
DD1 got a CD of a song called "Afikomen Mambo" from PJ Library and last week she wanted to listen to it on repeat while she slept. For like 5 nights in a row. And it is a really obnoxiously peppy song. For days H and I were walking around the house singing "I'm gonna find it, I'm gonna find it, I'm gonna find the Afikomen."
DH just took an accidental shower. He said he went upstairs to go to the bathroom and then apparently went into autopilot and took a shower without realizing it. Um okay.
I kicked ass at work today, even though that meant getting pulled into projects by 3 different senior level people. 1 was for my previous boss and he was kind of wowed by how much I've learned in 6 months in my new role.
I hit -10 lbs on WW today! <) Now, only like 648397643 more to go!
