What's everyone up to today?
I thought my IL's would be leaving early tomorrow morning (it's a 10 hour drive) but SIL and BIL informed me that she doesn't have to work on Monday, so they will drive 1/2 way and spend the night before continuing on. So there goes my day drinking on Sunday plan.
Today the only plan is to go to a seafood place for dinner tonight. I am hoping I can come up with some errands to run, because sitting in the living room watching History channel is getting old.

We bought a new pool today and ran some other errands. I went for a quick run this morning. Probably setting up the kiddie pool and sprinklers for the dogs when we get home and lounging around the yard. I want to start going thru all the clutter in the house but it's gorgeous out and going to be rainy tomorrow.
Ran 8 miles and then treated myself to an amazing gluten free glazed donut from my favorite restaurant. Did some yard work before it gets too hot, going to work for a few hours and then swimming/day-night drinking in the pool. It's triple digits here so I can't wait to jump in!
The insurance guy came out. He said that they will be mailing us an itemized statement with what they will cover and how much they will pay. All he could confirm is that we will be getting a new roof and ceiling repair. Yay!!! No more having to fix leaks every single year!!
I cleaned out the garage and now my allergies are killing me. I'm hoping this allergy medicine will kick in soon so that I will be able to go do fun stuff. I can't decide if I want to go wine tasting (1.5 hours away) or go to Dave and Busters (30 minutes away).

Weird as it sounds, this is what I miss about living in AZ! It was perfectly acceptable to spend the entire day in a bathing suit with a beer.
I bought all new skinny hangers to make more room in my closet. I have SO MANY clothes but wear the same eight things over and over. I want to be able to see things better and organize them by type. Before, everything was just thrown in there. I am in the "looks worse before it looks better" phase at the moment, but it feels great to be organizing!

We're cleaning and organizing our downstairs. We'll probably run to the craft store later to grab supplies for a couple DIY projects I've been wanting to do. Then I plan to make a complicated Mexican dinner and drink a bunch of Pacifico.
My dad has a retirement party tonight. I'm trying to decide how much my guts would hate me for a couple of glasses of wine and some food. I'm feeling much better, short of lingering exhaustion...

This sounds like perfect day!
@foodielicious, I love the term supernova
I am visiting my niece! I am so secretly proud/smug that she looks more like me than either of her parents

spunkarella, I love your pool! I would totally do that.
Update to my plans: DH and ILs went to the movies and the mall. I said I was tired. They've been gone 5 hours. I watched 2 hours of ID channel, took a ridiculously long shower, did a homemade mani/pedi, and just poured a martini. Who's complaining now? Not this girl.
I went to the free concert I posted about yesterday for the local band I like. I also saw a beautiful bride and groom dodging the rain, and a badass mural of a female matador.
