The guy in the office next door wanders out anytime I have a conversation he had an opinion about either on the phone or in person. He constantly injects himself into my day without being asked. We do two totally different jobs. Please keep your opinions to yourself and stop eavesdropping!
Yes, my office may be the one that is physically the closest to the copier. But, alas, I do not know whose print job is causing the printer to beep and ask for manual feed, and I do not feel like answering ten questions a day about where the extra paper is kept or how to solve a paper jam. Please use the sense god gave you and stop bothering me just because you happen to see me working out of the corner of your eye.
Oh this was me at my previous job. The only copier in the building and the mailboxes for the entire building were right next to my office. People were always coming in asking for staples, staple removers, white out, tape, etc. They would even interrupt me if I had a student in my office. It is one of many, many reasons I am not there anymore.
At least the copier isn't IN your office. That's what I deal with all day!

Happened to me all the time at my old office. I would tell them that I was just two credits shy of my copier repair certificate but would certainly try. People rarely asked me more than once.
My coworker watches random videos from the Internet without headphones in our shared office. Today I asked her to put some on. She proceeded to tell me she didn't think it was a big deal because we all talk in there. As if conversations = random Internet videos or Pandora. she listened to more a few hours later.
