I am salivating over your food for the day. Can I have the recipe for the chicken and kale burgers? I seriously want to make them tonight.
Ha! I can do one better. Do you have a Costco near you? Because this is where I let you in on one of our quick dinner secrets.
Â
DH throws them on the grill and we add avocado slices. Lazy FTW!Â
ETA: They'd probably be easy to create. The ingredient list is simply all-natural chicken, mozzarella, kale, sauteed onions, and spices...but right now, they are our go to, "No time to cook" meal.Â
This is my favorite kind of recipe! Those look great.
Trying to recover from this ick that I have that makes it hard to breathe. I'm also struggling making a schedule balancing Crossfit, cycling and Couch to 5K. I was going to run today but we did Fight Gone Bad and I just want to sit in the a/c and relax this afternoon.
My goal this week is to work out more days than not. H is traveling, I have an insane week at work, and it has been 110* everyday, so I have to work out in my house while DD is sleeping.
1. Getting back to 3 weekly runs 2. eating healtheier, no more sweets, and watching my carb intake. 3. specific for this week no drinking. I drink more than usual the last two weeks due to in laws being here (usually i have like maybe 1 drink a week when tehy were here i had a drink about every other day)
One of my friends opened a new spinning and fitness studio this past week. I've been there every day, and I tried spinning again after trying it once 15+ years ago and hating it.
So, they have this thing called Performance IQ and it is AWESOME. I am kind of obsessed now. So, my goal for the week, and really for June, is to improve my performance there and get where I want to be! It's nice to have a new cardio activity.

I'm starting taper, so I guess ... not lose my mind?
I swam yesterday and so I'm skipping today. I'll swim tomorrow (either am or noon), wednesday morning, and thursday afternoon (goal is 3600 yards per workout, at least). Then not again until Sunday afternoon.
I'm going to get 2 strength workouts in, 3 rides and 3 swims. Also I'm going to ride my bike up a big hill and I'm going to swim 400yds longer than I've ever swam before.

We are on vacation this week so my goal is to maintain my weight. Workouts are hiking, which I'm sure will be outweighed by my wine and cheese intake, so it's really about damage control for the next few days!

My goal is to at least do something every other day. I just finished up my second run this week and feel good to be moving although all the work I did in December/January pretty much has to be re-done. Oh well...gotta start somewhere. But, I am looking forward to a couple runs in the amazing weather in Colorado next week, as long as it doesn't rain too much.
