3 miles, 30 minute bike, 3 miles, 5 miles, 60 minute bike. I'll try to get to a yoga class too, or do a video at home.
3. Do you run with your phone? Is it for music or so you have a way to contact someone (or both)? Have you ever had to call someone during a run?
I run with my phone for safety - to have a way to contact someone if I need to. I just started using a flip belt and I love it. So I carry it in there. I've never had to call anyone during a run.
4. Do you ever drink (alcohol) the night before long runs? Does it affect your running?
I do sometimes, and it does, for sure. Saturday-night-me: "Yay! Weekend! One more is fine!" Sunday-morning-me: "But whyyy...?" Sunday morning's run was brought to me by Watermelon Jalapeno margaritas. It wasn't fun, but they were really delicious.
5. Any AWs or vents from the past week?
I got all of my workouts in even though work was very busy, but it felt generally lackluster. I guess some weeks are like that, though.

1. What marathon are you training for? Baystate Marathon (10/18)
2. What's your training plan for this week? Get in a few 3 mile runs
3. Do you run with your phone? Is it for music or so you have a way to contact someone (or both)? Have you ever had to call someone during a run? A little bit of both. I like running with it for safety and if I'm not with anyone I turn on roadID (Thank you to whoever told me about this app on here!). I've been working on not being dependent on using music and actually ran my whole half this weekend without music.
4. Do you ever drink (alcohol) the night before long runs? Does it affect your running? Absolutely usually a beer or two, carb loading! And it makes me fall asleep faster and earlier which is key for early wakeup calls.
5. Any AWs or vents from the past week? Half fanatic status! I'm feeling pretty tired and beat up though.
1. What marathon are you training for? I guess it's time for me to join in. MCM - 10/25
2. What's your training plan for this week? M: 6 mile tempo run, Yoga T: rest W: 3 miles Th: rest F: 4-5 miles Sa: 9 miles Su: strength
3. Do you run with your phone? Is it for music or so you have a way to contact someone (or both)? Have you ever had to call someone during a run? I run inside or with a friend 90% of the time, but I take my phone for music and safety.
4. Do you ever drink (alcohol) the night before long runs? Does it affect your running? I don't always, but I'm not opposed to a drink or two the night before. It usually helps, must be the extra carbs.
1. What marathon are you training for? MCM 10/25, not really training yet
2. What's your training plan for this week? Still figuring this out, which is so unlike me. Probably 25 miles or so. Run like 4 days, lift 3 times.
3. Do you run with your phone? Is it for music or so you have a way to contact someone (or both)? Have you ever had to call someone during a run? No not usually, I hate carrying extra crap and I don't use it. During my first marathon cycle, I had been sick and went out for 17 miles. I called H around 5.5 miles to come get me. It was rough. I had to just sit and wait for him to find me.
4. Do you ever drink (alcohol) the night before long runs? Does it affect your running? Nope, never. I do limit myself to 1-2, but sometimes more creep in if I'm at a social event. I feel it the first mile or two and hate myself, but by the end, I don't really notice. I'm not going to go crazy and as long as I stop drinking a few hours before bed, I feel a lot better than if I had been drinking up until bedtime.
5. Any AWs or vents from the past week?I ran a half, the time was nothing special. But I had a lot of fun at the wine tasting afterwards. May do a race review, if I can find some time today.

1. What marathon are you training for? Chicago
2. What's your training plan for this week? 3 easy, 4 Tempo, 3 Speed, 7 long
3. Do you run with your phone? Is it for music or so you have a way to contact someone (or both)? Have you ever had to call someone during a run? Yes. I use it for listening to podcasts and I use Nike run for time/distance tracking. But, it drains my battery so quickly. I know I'm going to have to switch back to my garmin watch for longer runs. I just like all the pretty data on my phone
I do also use it for safety. I run 95% of my runs on a trail in front of my house. Once I'm about 1.5 miles out, there isn't another entrance onto the trail for about 6 miles. I use it in case I'm attacked (by person or animal) or get hurt.
4. Do you ever drink (alcohol) the night before long runs? Does it affect your running? Nope, not long runs. During the week, sometimes.
5. Any AWs or vents from the past week? I had a really great 6 mile run early on Sunday morning. After doing so many runs in the heat and humidity, it was nice to feel so good after a run and bring back my running confidence with training starting this week.
