Today is Morgan's first day in underwear, I sent her to school with 4 changes of clothes, I anticipate lots of laundry the next few days! But her teacher assured me that she is doing great with asking to go at school so we took the plunge. Made a big deal about her & I going to Target for her to pick some out, she carried them through the store & put them on the counter and gave the cashier the money. Bless that cashier because she totally played her part and made a big deal too LOL. I keep looking at the webcam to see if she's in her same clothes - who am I?!?!

this is awesome! We made the switch from diapers to underpants last week. We are now going on day 4 with zero accidents and she's pooping like a champ. I think sometimes moving to the undies is the push they need. Congratulations on having to buy less diapers!
Thanks! And of course we just bought 2 boxes of diapers this weekend LOL. I wasn't anticipating it happening already but when I asked if she needed diapers at school her teacher encouraged us to just make the switch. I'm dreaming of the money we're going to save on not buying diapers haha!
I'm not really sure there's anything better than having a sleeping baby on you. I really love this kid.
It's going to be a relaxing staycation kind of week. DH is working from home and his grandparents are in town. I anticipate lots of naps and evenings on the patio drinking wine. This is just what I need before going back to work next week.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
My oldest just turned 15 and got her learner's permit. Naturally, most of her friends are in the same boat and they have been posting pictures with their new permits in hand. I'm scrolling through her Instagram as I do from time to time and come across a post of her friend sitting in a 2014 BMW SUV that her parents just bought her. For getting her learner's permit. At 15. I try not to judge, but it is really hard for me to imagine doing that for my daughter.
We had the most amazing night last night at the beach. Our friends are camping and we went down for dinner and s'mores. The weather was perfect and I managed to get this photo
We are getting ready now to go down for the day and will sleep down there tonight in a tent. This will be our first time sleeping all of us, including the dog, in a tent. I hope it goes ok. With DH's bad back I have no idea what to expect.

I am spying on my husband changing Sparkybaby's diaper through our Drop Cam. It is adorable as heck.
I need the purchase of our hopeful new house to close soon before I start setting things aflame. I'm a ball of stress and crabby to everyone lately.
I got into it with my sister on Saturday, and she and I are usually super close, but all of our mutual stresses got the better of us. I think we are ok now but I still feel like crap about it.
David has been obsessed with wolves lately then last week he asked me if he could watch Twilight. lol, wtf? I was like "how do you know about Twilight?" and apparently his best friend has been talking about it at school and how he's totally Team Jacob because he's a wolf and wolves are cool. I'm guessing he has an older sister. No, son. You cannot watch Twilight. He was totally crushed. "But there's a boy who turns into a wolf! Can I please just watch that one part? Please!?!?!" lol

H's parents offered to bring us dinner last night to give me a break. They brought 1 corned beef sandwich for me, H, and J to share. It wasn't even one of those huge sandwiches. I pretended to be grateful and when they left I had to make dinner. Who does that?
eb777888, I love that he is Team Jacob. lol. They were all on TV last night! FX, I think. I made H watch the end of Eclipse. I have fun explaining the ridiculousness to him.
I just went to the bathroom and realized that I forgot to put on make up of any kind this morning.

I know! lol! I'm watching them now and that's what reminded me of it. I told David I'm totally team Edward and he's like "what's that mean?" He's just repeating what his little friend is telling him. It just cracks me up that his little friend who is 6 loves Twilight so much. It's all he talks about.
I'm pretty sure I have an eye infection, and I'm pretty sure it's the same one I had a couple years ago. It means that my vision is blurry and there is no medicine to take.
So I have to pay to go to the eye doctor, throw out my contacts, and then spend the majority of the summer in my glasses.

Have him watch the transformation scene from "An American Werewolf in London." Probably turn him off from wolves forever.
I just realized that my cousin either un-friended me or quit facebook. She's always been a drama llama. About 3 times a year she posts something that makes everyone think she's depressed and maybe suicidal, so some people reach out to her, and she says everything is fine. Then she bitches that now she knows who her real friends are because some people didn't reach out to her in her time of need. She always seems to be having some spectacular break-up with a friend, and posts about how no one can be trusted.
Well, she recently posted some self-pitying thing about always being left out and overlooked but it's okay because she's used to it, and some people responded saying that she needs new friends. She said it's her family that makes her feel that way. The drama cousin's sister wrote this huge response that her family has always been there for her even though she creates all of her own drama, and if she is going to publicly humiliate her family like this, then she shouldn't expect any more support. Whoa. I just went back to see if the drama cousin replied, and she's not on my friend list anymore. Eesh!
