School birthday treat ideas? Allergy related

Our oldest has a summer birthday, but her teacher lets summer birthday kids pick a "fake birthday" day before school's end, so they each get their own day vs having six sets of cupcakes on the last day of school. My DD just picked this Friday. She has three classmates with severe allergies--wheat, nuts, and dairy, I think? What the heck do I send as her class treat? My first thought was maybe popsicles, but was curious if anyone has better ideas than I'm coming up with.

This is why I'm SOOOO glad DSs school says no food for birthdays.

Anyhow- I think popsicles is a good idea, actually. Can the school put them in a freezer for you?

And/or is it possible to contact those 3 parents and ask what their kids can have?

Oreos are dairy free (and the rest it just doesn't seem obvious to me they would be dairy free)

One of the kids in my class last year brought in Luigi's Italian Ice for her birthday treat and they were a big hit. Less messy than popsicles it seemed too.

ETA sorry oreos wouldn't work for wheat, I misread that one

Most parents of children with allergies have a plan in place for this, so I'd talk with the teacher and parents.

Rice Krispies treats with the GF Krispies are really good.

eta I read wrong and thought you said homemade. I'd actually error on the side of premade even if they allow homemade treats.

Oh! Jelly Belly discontinued the peanut butter jelly bean and now they are free of the top eight as well. DD got a bag at a birthday party and thought they were great.

As a teacher, I would love you for that non messy idea lol.

I'm terrified of making something, thinking it's safe, and having it not be! So, no worries there. It'll definitely be store bought. I'm also a million weeks pregnant (aka. overdue) and honestly don't have the energy.

DD took applesauce pouches for her birthday. I can'tell remember what I gave DS to take in but I think it was a non-food item like Smencils.

Call the parents.

Most won't want their kids to have something they can't check.

I am so glad our school switched to non-food birthdays.

Even some popsicles are made in facilities that also manufacture treenut/peanut items.

Does it have to be food?

My son's class doesn't allow food treats so we sent little mini baseballs and a pencil.
