Hi ladies. Can you help out a lurker find good camping sites with preschoolers around Seattle? We'll be with family. Looking into Dosewallips but was wondering if any of you might have good recommendations.
We are still working on exploring more spots but so far we have had good luck with the state camp grounds. Friends of ours like the KOA sites because most of them have actual pools and playgrounds for the kids to play on.
My H likes to fish when we camp, and we've spent a lot of time up at Fish Lake/Lake Wenatchee. Leavenworth has both a KOA and Thousand Trails of you want more amenities.

Lake Wenatchee State Park is very family friendly. Well maintained, has a beach, and even has a snack shack at the beach. If you want to be on the lake but want to rough it just a bit more (pit toilets, no showers) check out Glacier View Campground. On the south side of Lake Wenatchee but all the way at the end. But they don't take reservations.
Tons of great campgrounds at Baker Lake too. Horseshoe Cove and Panorama Point are beautiful.
A little late on this, but I really like Viento State Park. It's near Hood Ricer along the Columbia river. I also have really fond memories of camping at Ohanapecosh at Mt Rainier. They had evening campfires and stories! I haven't been to either place in years though.
