For the neurologist and injections to alleviate migraines.
Did you get something that's helping? I sure hope so!
I'm going this afternoon - I went home and went to sleep yesterday so I missed their call. By the time I called back, all their appts for yesterday were taken. so hopefully in about 5 hours I'll be feeling much better. I have to have a friend take me since I can't drive home afterwards.
great news spindle92! So he just had a random fever, not related to the hip?
Yeah it is not related to his hip BUT they are now wondering if this unusually long lasting fever may be from a tick bite. He spends a lot of time up in Northern MN at the family cabin and ticks have been out of control this year.
But at least it is not his hip - which would have been another major surgery.
I'm thankful for antibiotics and a team of doctors who seem to care and have their shit together. I already have an appointment scheduled with the ENT for next month. They called me the next day!

If you suffer from sinus infections a lot, I highly recommend getting sinus surgery. I had it done maybe 15 years ago and to this day I can count on 1 hand the # of sinus infections I have had. Prior to the surgery I think I got them more than I did my period.

I had sinus surgery ~5 years ago. I'm thinking I may need a revision or something because they've started increasing again. Really I need to use my irrigator every day.

REALLY? Wow I am sorry that you are still suffering. That blows.....literally.

Thank you. I'm hoping that the ENT can help me figure out what's going on, but I've suspected that the surgery wasn't as clean a job as it could've been. Or maybe my allergies are just that powerful? Hopefully I'll have some answers soon-ish.

I'm thankful that DS has stopped loudly proclaiming he woke up in the mornings. Now he walks in my room and climbs into my bed with me. A much nicer way to wake up.

This is how ds woke me up this morning as well. I love my early morning snuggles!

That my kids love me so much. DD kept giving me hugs last night and telling me how much she loved me and this morning DS#1 told me I had to "rush to mamaw's to get us and then take us home".
That my coworkers are so much fun to be around. It's been a stressful week, but we're still looking forward to seeing each other on our off day.
That stbxmil & I have such a good relationship and that she's taking the kids for two nights.

I'm thankful for take-out.
I'm thankful for caffeine.
I'm thankful for the good health of my family.
And I'm thankful that I FINALLY heard from the HR person who is supposed to be handling my offer. It was only to say that she hasn't heard anything yet on my request for a higher step, but at least she finally got back to me after multiple emails and voice mails left for her over the past couple weeks.

I am thankful for my new boss who always tells me how much she appreciates me and how great I am at my job. It feels so nice to be valued and rewarded for working hard.
