What are you reading? What you think about the typeface the book is set in (or reader if it's an audio book)?
QOTW: When you got a new box of crayons/markers/colored pencils, did you dump them out and re-order them in the box (for example: rainbow order, alphabetical order, favorite color order, etc.)?
Equinox: Life, Love, and Birds of Prey by Dan O'Brien -- continuing my current infatuation with falconry and birds. It's a well designed book: pleasant typeface, neat little falcon drawings as dividers.
QOTW: ooh, I do remember doing that! I think it was often a different order each time.
Size 12 is Not Fat by Meg Cabot. Not loving it so far, but I'll keep reading. Ended up with two large print books on a row, really noticed it on the first one and will likely have to adjust when I go back to regular type face.
I often tried to keep them close to the way they came, especially if it was a big box. If colors were all mixed up, I would often organize by rainbow color.

Just starting Sacred Clowns by Tony Hillerman. It's more of a pulp fiction mystery. Not my usual genre. But after reading Land of Echoes last month, I was looking for more stories set in Native American southwest.
QOTD: Yes I've always been particular about organization.
I am currently reading/listening to two books I'm really enjoying. I think this makes up for the book I finished that I didn't care for (The Ten Year Nap by Meg Wolitzer).
I'm reading I Regret Nothing by Jen Lancaster. I really like her memoirs and a humorous read is perfect for me right now. I'm listening to Food: A Love Story written and read by Jim Gaffigan.
I haven't really noticed anything in particular about the font in I Regret Nothing. However, the narrator in my audiobook is 5 stars (the author himself, who does stand up and cracks me up).
QOTW: oh I used to LOVE my crayons. The box of 64 Crayola was a special treat with the sharpener built in the back. I always made sure they were in the correct/original order and used them one by one out of the box. Nerd, lol.
Still reading The Girl on the Train, I found it a bit slow to begin and it was a busy week. I am reading it on the Nook, I don't really play around with font, sometimes the size, but it is pleasant enough.
QOTW: I am possibly too old to remember what I did as a kid. My markers are just dumped into a larger box, no order at all.

I'm reading Murder by the Book by Rex Stout, a Nero Wolfe Mystery. It's the first Nero Wolfe mystery I have actually read, though I've listened to many -- my parents would play the audio books on family trips. So I'm familiar with the characters and the style. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but I am finding myself putting off things just to read a bit more -- I let three people go ahead of me in line because I was in the middle of a chapter.
It's a Kindle book, so I can change the font size (my Kindle is old and won't change type face, only size) which is handy for reading in bed, I can make the text bigger to need less light and not disturb DH. But usually, I don't notice the font unless it is jarring. Though I wonder why most text online is sans serif when it's shows that serif fonts are easier to read in print.
QOTW: I kept the boxes of 64 crayons in the factory order, but anything smaller was re-arranged in rainbow order, though I was never (and am still not) sure about where to put black, brown & white shades.
Stephen King said once that he puts a lot of thought into his typeface. I read almost exclusively on my kindle, so I always used the publisher's font. I recently got a notification that kindle designed some typeface to reduce eye strain, so I switched to that. Seems fine.
I am still reading A Dance with Dragons...it's taking forever because I've been traveling a lot for work, and I own the massive hardcover version that I don't want to carry, so I'm switching to stuff on my Kindle while traveling. Anyway, I'm annoyed because I just got spoiled on another major plot point this morning.
QOTW: I definitely reorganized crayon boxes, along with everything else I was allowed to.
I'm reading The Goshawk by T.H. White and MaddAddam by Margaret Atwood. I don't generally notice the typeface unless it bothers me or is smaller than I think it should be.
QOTW: I don't reorder them surprisingly enough. I usually like things just so but not when it comes to coloring implements apparently!
Yesterday I finished The Children's Crusade by Ann Packer, and started The Last Original Wife by Dorothea Benton Frank. The latter is geared towards Baby Boomers, but it seems appropriate to read a book that takes place in Charleston while in SC. I'm about a third done and it is easy, beach reading. The Children's Crusade was missing something. It felt a bit tedious to read.
QOTw: I have never reorganized crayons. It would never occur to me.
Finished 11/22/63 on Friday. I told my husband about it and he went all conspiracy theory on me. Made me watch "back and to the left" on youtube and I'm trying to resist falling down that rabbit hole. I love a good conspiracy!
As for the crayons, I actually re-organized my daughters 64-crayola box in church yesterday morning when we opened it. ROYGBIV of course
Started The First Phone Call From Heaven on Saturday, it's a book club book.
