chalupa I hope you hear something soon. In a way it seems good that DC is taking a little while because it gives more time for your company to put together an offer. It's nice to get the offers in close proximity to one another, I think. I'm going to keep thinking good thoughts for you!
Oh, today is a good day. I have to return the phone call from the woman looking for an appointment for herself and her husband. I also need to call my former client and get him scheduled. And then go to happy hour with friends.
I personally think it could be a really good thing if you moved.
It could be, especially given that the relocation is "home" for me. I'm trying not to stress myself out thinking about it before I have offers to weigh against each other, but my concern is making sure the job and offer are enough to offset what M and I would be giving up if we moved (cute/cheap house, 2 mile commutes for both of us, etc).
Of course. There are a lot of factors to consider.
Oddly enough, we had the exact opposite situation last year. Brad had an offer in a lower COL area (the same area as your potential offer). We went over all the pros and cons 5 million times. It was a difficult decision.

I think our high today is in the high 90s...ugh.
My CW is out of town this week, so I decided that I would borrow her exercise ball to sit on instead of my chair, because it's supposed to be good for your core, posture, etc. I don't know if I'm sitting on it wrong or what, but my back is killing me. Not in a "oh, this is working my muscles" kind of way, but in a "I've been on my feet lifting heavy shit all day" sort of way...and all I've been doing is sitting..... :-\
I got a stupid gas station car wash that cost as much as my hand wash carwash place. :/ The construction site across the street got concrete dirt splattered all over my car and I didn't want to leave it there to dry in the sun. Ugh. In positive news my car is clean.

Nothing fun going on at work sadly. J and I are figuring out the days that work for traveling to see each other. It's weird being in a relationship and saying boyfriend again, but it makes me smile too.

OH! I didn't tell you guys. We have an emergency shower in our bathroom (right next to an eyewash station). A lady turned it on today because she thought the pull bar was for paper towels. I walked in as she was drying herself off.
Well my excitement today was helping a kid file a police report for sexual assault. Need to call it in to CPS also and fax them my written follow up. Just to make sure my legal requirement is met. Poor kid.

I'm officially not pregnant (wasn't a risk) and I got my IUD inserted.
Our move happens in a week and a half and I'm freaking out. Thank goodness H's company is paying the movers to pack and unpack us.
I quit my job and told the clergy. It was really painful and I'm really sad about this. This was the first job that I loved to go to even on my most hellish days.
Pastrami is doing great and PF has taken to singing to him and requesting to give him hugs.

I love budget bytes. Her Mexican chicken bowls are so awesome. Let me know how you like this.
It was so good!!! Definitely a keeper - especially since I really want to start using my crock pot more.
I did sub two cans of rotel (one of which was HOT) for the can of chopped tomatoes, and I probably didn't need to do that. Still, it turned out really good
