I switched from office work (administrative assistant and then office manager) to therapy. My next transition will be from agency work to private practice, I think. I can't imagine doing something else at this point.
I'm in HR, and probably would be a college career counselor. Help the 18-23-year-old masses decide what their strengths are and help them on the right path.
Those who can't figure it out for themselves, teach.

I like what I do, but it'd be nice to do it someplace that is willing to pay the support staff what they're worth. Which means I need to get out of academics and back into the private sector.

I'm a researcher currently with a side gig as a dance instructor. I worked as a baker for a while before I found my current job, and I wouldn't mind working as a baker again, although the pay cut would majorly suck. I also sometimes joke about moving somewhere tropical to teach SCUBA...I enjoy teaching, and since SCUBA definitely does NOT come naturally to me, I would be good at teaching it. I also have pondered going to med school to become an anesthesiologist...I find the idea mildly intriguing, and I find the potential paycheck highly intriguing, plus I've always enjoyed and excelled at school.
Hopefully, within a couple months, I will be starting another research position, only this one will be lab-based, rather than my current computer-based position. I am looking forward to getting to work with my hands again and not being stuck behind a computer all day.
Currently I am an Interior Designer. If I couldn't be independently wealthy and do whatever I wanted. I would like to do set design for movies and shows. It's what I originally told my H on our first date I wanted to do. We are sort of settled so I don't think I could make that happen.
Something random that I really enjoyed doing was working in a frame shop. I did it all through HS and college and it was so much fun to see what people would come in with.

Honestly, I would love to own my own boarding facility for dogs, cats and other animals. I would like to have enough space to foster, and adopt out ones that need homes. BUTTTTTT, I don't want to deal with the people, so I would make sure and hire someone that would be great at that. I currently work for a governmental entity.

I work in health info management. I went to grad school to do counseling but it turns out I was easily burned out by it. I do wish I had stayed in psychology, possibly in research instead of counseling. That sounds much better for my aspie tendencies. I really wanted to do sex/gender research hit at the time the only programs were in California and I live in Kentucky. I wish I had followed that dream sometimes though.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
