Today is CD 1, which means my first Clomid cycle didn't work. I finally made the call to an RE and scheduled an appointment. I thought I would feel relief but I just feel like I'm going to be sick. My DH was on board but now that I've scheduled it he says "it just seems like we're moving so fast". The receptionist mentioned that if my insurance excludes all fertility visits then the first appointment would be $250. That threw me off. I knew we'd be out of pocket but I wasn't expecting it so soon. I need to call my insurance to find out if diagnosis is covered at all. Treatment definitely is not.
I have an appt with my OB tomorrow to follow up on last cycle. She only does clomid every other month, so we had no meds planned this month. i guess I should tell her I made this other appointment... see what she thinks. My PCP is pushing for me to start metformin, so I'll talk to her about that. I don't know if I should just stay with her and do another Clomid or if it's right to move on so soon. I'm conflicted.
Is your appointment with the RE soon? Or is it like 2 months down the road?
If it's soon I wouldn't bother with another clomid cycle with your OB but if it's 2 months out maybe do one more clomid cycle. Idk if that's the right thing to do but that's what I would do.

It's at the end of July, probably a few days to a week before my next cycle would start. Surprisingly, I could've gotten in even earlier but I will be traveling for work.
