I've been planning on upgrading from my Zip for awhile. But this morning, the screen of my Zip cracked so I am going to buy a new Fitbit this weekend. Do I want a Flex or a Charge? I don't intend on buying the Charge HR because money.
Information you probably already know but I'll repeat anyways: I genuinely care not at all about the stairs thing. I have no stairs at work, the gym, or at home, so there's that. I Crossfit 5 days per week and do aerial hoop 2 times per week.

I have a flex. I love that it is non description and I can take out the tracker and stick it in my pocket during runs/when I don't want something on my wrist.
But I miss wearing a watch and Like the low profile the charge.
Not helpful, huh. I still think I would stick with a flex until I could really upgrade to the kick ass garmin that @vtcupcake posted about (a vi vocative, I think?)

Is there anyway to clip it on a bra? I don't have pockets on my workout pants and I usually clip by Zip to my bra.

You might want to consider the One. It clips to your bra but still has the sleep tracker/silent alarm functions of the Flex. (FWIW, I don't bother with the sleep tracker, but I love the silent alarm.)
The quick and dirty:
Zip: tells you your steps and that's about it. Clip only.
One: tells steps, tracks sleep, silent alarm. Sold as clip only, but you can buy pendant cases on Etsy if you don't want to clip it.
Flex: tells steps, tracks sleep, silent alarm. Worn on the wrist and uses 5 dots to track your goal (so if your goal is 10k steps, when you double-tap it, one dot will be lit up to tell you that you've hit at least 2k). Multiple colors of bands available via Fitbit and you can change up the band color with your outfit/mood. Lots of sellers on Etsy offer alternative band choices. Tory Burch makes fancypants bracelets for it, as well as a pendant although I'm not sure how well that works since Flex is calibrated for your hand.
Charge: tells steps, tells flights of stairs climbed, tracks sleep, silent alarm, can sync to your phone for caller ID (why? I don't know), has a watch, available with built-in HR monitor. Available in 4 colors. Tracker is built into the wristband, so you can't take it out.
I almost think the One might be best for Crossfit. With the Flex and the Charge, you tell it whether you're wearing it on your dominant or non-dominant hand, and it tries to account for the extra movement of your dominant hand. I wonder how accurate your step count will be if you have a ton of arm movements happening.
tacosforlife - The silent alarm on the One doesn't help me if I'm not wearing a bra to bed
I really like the idea of a bracelet, except for when I'm working out. IDK. I don't what I want lol.
Fair point. Maybe it would clip onto a tank top?
It's too bad this Tory Burch pendant is so freaking expensive because otherwise, the Flex would be perfect. Alas, that is the best-looking necklace I've seen for it. (Says the person who is planning to spend her birthday money on the leather bracelet that costs the same obscene amount.)

I could go on for hours about my unexpected love for this feature! My job requires that I keep my phone on silent and put away, so I can figure out at a glance at my wrist to see if it's a call I've been expecting. Or when I have my phone in my Spibelt, I don't have to pull it out when it vibrates.
I'm telling you. Genius.
And I realize that this does nothing to answer wambam's question, but everyone else covered that part very well.

Ditto. And my phone is an asshole and doesn't even light up or vibrate sometimes, so I would otherwise never have any idea my phone was ringing. It's really handy and I thought it would be totally pointless.
