I hate that the movement is using the "pro-choice" tag line. Those people don't want to know want to know what "Hitler all over again" would be like.
I totally understand the "it should be the parents choice" thought process but not when your choice endangers others!
I would like everyone to have free will and make sound choices but the exemption rates were getting out of control.
I believe the way it works is that kids must be caught up by their next level up in school. So kids in H's school between grades 1-6, maybe K-6, have until the start of 7th grade with an existing exemption. Parents have until January to get one on file. D will be better protected than H because everyone her age will be caught up by K, but there will still be kids H's age floating around for a couple years. If that makes sense..
