Do you live somewhere with access to a lot of delivery (or even takeout) food? Despite living in a major metro area, I feel like my options are basically limited to pizza. Even Jimmy Johns doesn't deliver to my house.
I really want Olive Garden (or similar pasta and salad), but don't want to go sit down anywhere. Boo.
I have no energy for cooking and all the close drive through options sounds awful today. Tell me all your options so I can be jealous.
I have zero options for delivery (only 2 pizza places are they are take out/dine in only) and zero options for drive through (closest drive through restaurant is an hour away).
Our Olive Garden does take out. You call and pay over the phone and they run it out to your car when they see you. Yours probably does too? Our Applebee's and Chili's does it as well I think.
Delivery I can only think of Jimmy Johns, pizza and chinese. There used to be signs for some place that would go pick up food at any place and deliver it to you but I don't know if they are around anymore.
I found out recently some Burger Kings deliver lol.
Almost everything except for Ethiopian food. I would kill for a good Ethiopian restaurant in my neighborhood! v just reminded me though that I should see if there's a place on seamless that can deliver Ethiopian to DH's office.
My usual delivery favorites are Thai or Peruvian roast chicken.

BITCH.
We don't have good Peruvian roast chicken that can be delivered here
In fact, I go all the way up to Murray Hill for that. MURRAY HILL.
We actually pretty rarely order delivery -- once every two weeks, probably? But that is probably in part because I don't love our 242 options :-#
When I was at my old job I ordered a lot more -- either because I was eating at my desk or it was late or I was so stressed when I got home that I didn't want to deal with cooking. Now I either cook or go out for dinner.

We can get delivery chinese or pizza/subs easily. There is a service that delivers other restaurants but it's expensive. We do a lot of takeout that we go pick up (chains like OG and Chilis or non-chains).
The only place that will deliver to us is pizza hut:( our OG does takeout, but you have to actually go inside the regular entrance to get it. I like the places that do curbside service with a separate entrance.

There is some dumb delivery service you can pay to bring food from a bunch of restaurants. I mean really? Get your shit together people! As you can tell I'm a disgruntled NYer living in the south

I don't have Pizza Hut anywhere near meÂ

Ha, yeah, but you have hundreds of other options!! That's the only place we've ever had delivery from in any of the houses we've owned!

Funny, because I always wish something like this existed and my h says we need to start it. I'd probably be too cheap to actually pay what they'd want for delivery service, but it sounds great to me!
We can't get any food delivered and the closest drive through is 15 minutes. This still might be a step up from the last place we lived, where we had access to take out and drive through, but had to drive 15 minutes for booze.
There is a few pizza places but most restaurants you can get take out is at least 30 minutes. It's one of the things I hate especially since I grew up in a city where there were way more options
I have a million delivery options. It's nice. Where I lived in Atlanta there was like one local Chinese-slash-pizza place that delivered to my house. Both the Chinese and the pizza were as good as you would expect.
My current addiction is Oaxacan food. Mole and fried plantains. It is almost worth the obscene amount we pay in rent.

Lol. No delivery. We can drive 15 minutes each way for Pizza Hut or McDonald's, 20 minutes each way for dominos, BK, chipotle and 35-40 minutes each way will get us most anything else.
Through the use of several services we have a wide variety of delivery options and even more takeout options. It's one of the reasons my food bill is so high. If my only options were pizza I certainly wouldn't be spending 400 to 500 a month.
We have tons of options. My favorites are Turkish and Indian. My wife would probably add one of the Japanese places to that list. I am a little sad because we've tried like 3 different Thai places and none of them are very good.
