It's the last day of the month so it's a loooong work day for me. I got a large coffee and 3 donuts to kick off the day.
My abs are still sore from the workout class I took on Saturday morning. And I've been running around like a mad woman trying to hit my FitBit goals so my legs are super tired.
Maybe I should stop eating 3 donuts at a time and then I wouldn't have to work so hard.
My IL's went back home this morning. The house is officially ours again FIl behaved a lot better than I expected he would so that was good...
I ate a bagel with cream cheese this morning. It was good and I don't regret it. I've got dance tonight anyways!
Today is my parent's wedding anniversary. My Dad is taking Mom to a Brazilian steakhouse. So excited he feels so good since his hip surgery for them to have a date.
DH replaced the filter in our fridge. Now the water tastes funny...and I'm paranoid
If I never hear a vacuum before 7 am OR vacuuming for an hour plus straight, I will be a happy person.
AND yesterday I went to confirm we are still good for new house closing on the 14th. Imagine my surprise when I hear that nope, everyone has is written down for the 17th. Because the 17th was what we put in our offer. We verbally accepted the sellers request to close by the 14th. Apparently neither realtor felt it important to put that in writing. I made a small stink over this yesterday. So far, I have my lawyer, realtor, finance dude and seller lawyer all on board with honoring the verbal negotiation acceptance that had been requested of us. Now we're waiting for seller lawyer to verify with the sellers that they are still good with the 14th.
This needs to work out, as I need to move out of ILs ASAP. Plus, my parents are moving in briefly when they sell their house on the 17th. H and I would really appreciate having a few nights in the house by ourselves with our dogs before we get three house guests for a few weeks.

I'm swamped and can't get motivated today. So far at work I have done some online shopping, read the news, and eaten my second breakfast of the day. Oh, and apparently checked in here
Also, I love that you rewarded your sore abs with donuts ewall! Sounds like a perfect plan to me.
ewall The other day it was for three hours straight. And the day before, she started whacking my closed bedroom door with the vacuum at like 6:50 am. My bigger dog was freaking out, because he couldn't tell what was making either the vacuum noise or banging on the door.
She also claims to see invisible dog hair tumbleweeds at all hours of the day that make her gag. And that every time our bedroom door opens that five pounds of dog hair comes flying out...There are no tumbleweeds as they have no chance to form with the vacuum going at least three different times a day for various lengths of time. Usually for at least an hour.

They just announced the pope is coming to DC in Sept, I feel I need to find him and have a little chat about putting in a good word for us with the man upstairs.
ewall And she yells at my 5 month old puppy when he tries to play with her 12 month old pups. Because he is 15 pounds heavier "he might make them cause a torn ACL". So we've basically spent the last four weeks and the next two weeks "locked" upstairs in one bedroom and a three foot hallway.
Never again! (and they offered and said they knew what they were getting into with two adults and two labrador puppies.) Especially since I'm "off" for the summer and basically can't do anything because it means my pups are stuck here in crates alone, with them having anxiety caused from moving in with ILs. And it's either too hot or too rainy for long walks with them.
grover Oh I'm side-eyeing her hard now! I didn't realize she had pups, too. I guess hers are magical unicorn pups that don't ever rough house, bark, shed, make messes.
Facebook knows I've been looking at realtor.com. Yesterday there was an ad for a condo for sale.
Today there is an ad for a $2.5 million home.
LOLOLOL
I wish
Zillow keeps sending me emails about how they haven't seen me in awhile. Don't they know I'm only window shopping?
I was in a meeting last week and made some sort of comparison statement that included looking at $1 million homes on realtor.com. Afterward, I felt like I should have gone back to clarify that I wasn't actually shopping for a home that expensive, that I'm simply dreaming. I am not a high roller.
LOL ewall That's the best part- My boys are house trained (both the 2 year old and the 5 month old), crate trained, and actually know commands like stop, stay, off. Hers are both 1 2 or almost 2 years and both shit and peed in the house yesterday. Plus she refused to crate train (because it's cruel yo.) so if they are left alone at any point in time (regardless if confined to a room or the entire first floor) all they do is wail. And no obedience training what-so-ever.
My poor, sad, anxious 2 year old pup has no idea why Grandma is always yelling at him and no longer shows him even a quarter of the affection she gave when he was the only pup around.
I did day one of c25k yesterday, and then followed it up with a leg workout of squats and lunges. I am deeply regretful this morning. This is what I get for complaining that I didn't do enough during leg day last week. SO SORE.
wanderingenough- your work day sounds like mine the last few months I was there! I had zero motivation...hopefully you find some motivation soon to tackle your to-do list!
MrsMB- Glad you survived the ILs and have the house back to yourselves!
We have C's 6 month appointment today! Other than that, not much going on...we're both still recovering from the flu.

The sickening thing is, in our neighborhood, $1 million is nothing. I really, really hate that about this area.
No joke, there is a house listed for $220 million! WTF? I want to go to an open house...
grover I hope that your closing can be done on the 14th!!
I feel terrible. DH is still sick and home again. I'm sooo glad he is home. THANKFULLY G hasn't gotten sick. Crossing everything that she stays healthy.
My little convection oven stopped working, and I really don't like using the big oven. I will have to buy a new one soon. In other news, H finally decided that he doesn't want to mow the lawn anymore and scheduled a lawn service to come every week, starting tomorrow! He is so excited not to need to mow. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth the investment because he hates mowing so much due to his allergies.
grover- that all sounds so stressful. My ILs have small dogs, 5-7lbs. And they have had no training at all. It drives me crazy. Sure my 60lb dog can knock someone over if he jumps up but he is trained not to, and only does it if extremely excited. But her pups jump up all the time and they scratch the crap out of my ankles. They also bark like crazy and sometime she gets upset when our dog tries to play with there dog. When our pup plays with smaller dogs he lays down and then plays from there because he realizes that he is bigger/stronger then them. Our dog has never hurt her dogs but her dogs have hurt mine. :/
HoneySpider- whenever new neighborhoods pop up DH and I go and check out some open houses, they are all above our price range and they all are placed so close together and with no yards so it makes us feel a little better about our selves. We could never move somewhere with no yard, where would the pup play?
I am supposed to be packing more food into the trailer but I'm to tired to. I worked until almost 1 am last night and I just want to stay in bed. It's a good thing we are not leaving until tomorrow.
HoneySpider I need to see that listing. I mean, I know that area and its a lot, but 220M? That is still insane!! Just wow.
If you guys get sick of the cost of living out there you can come to Chicago. That's the main reason we moved!
grover *hugs* it's amazing you haven't killed anyone yet with all the drama and stress you keep facing. I hope this all ends soon. Will having your parents live with you be okay, or just more stress?
katespade strong work on the workout! Last night I got on the floor and thought about exercising. But I didn't
I just got an email with tracking info for an order I placed online. When I clicked on the FedEx link, it showed me that the package was delivered on Friday (June 26) in California. Do they re-use tracking numbers? My order was shipped today and I don't expect it until this Thursday at the earliest (made the order on Sunday). I'm hoping the tracking info refreshes or something.
