mags and cuddlyevil, his front right leg turns out slightly, which isn't a huge deal by itself. Thoroughbreds commonly have flat front hooves. Flatter hooves tend to put a lot of stress on the heel of the hoof, which cause them to crack. His were *really* flat. She said given his turned leg and how flat his hooves were, there is a high probability that he would have soundness issues in the next few years. Given I'm spending thousands of dollars, and he is only five, I'm not willing to take the chance to have a pretty pasture pet.

After being off work for a long weekend because of working this Saturday, I now have a metric fuckton of work to catch up on. I can't look at any more paper. I'm drowning!
Also nobody bothered to give the bank the POA that XH signed giving his dad control of his finances so his dad isn't able to transfer the child support/day care payment I usually get until this all gets processed and turned in, which will likely be several days. I'll be ok money wise but this is still somewhat inconvenient.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
Sorry again Bully. The right horse for you is out there, though!
I wouldn't care so much, but the gelding I've been riding in lessons is now lame and can't be ridden ever again. I *hate* the other 2 lesson horses I've ridden. I'm riding someone else tonight but if it doesn't work, I'm going to be super frustrated.

Can you lease a horse at your current barn? Even just a couple days a week? There's almost always an adult owner who would like to share a couple of weekdays and some expenses with someone.
If it doesn't work with Ziggy, I may ask her if there is anyone who is willing to lease. I doubt there is, because when I first switched to the barn, she said Ziggy and Watson were both available. Watson is now lame.
doglove, I'd say go and if he doesn't ask you questions about yourself and only talks talks talks, shoot me a text and I'll call you and say something bad happened and you can leave.
In random news I'm going out again tonight with the guy from Saturday and I'm excited about it but it means I have to get a shit ton of stuff done this afternoon to prepare to leave on my trip tomorrow. First world problem, for sure. Oh and also, I really just want to wing it on this trip but the resort website says to make advanced reservations for all kinds of stuff I *may* want to do. Another first world problem, I guess.

Well he was good about asking me questions, he wasn't talking at me on the phone, but his stories were looooooooooooong.
