I bought this last year for him (that is not my baby in the pic), but I think the tail will be too annoying. He will have a helmet then, so my new plan is astronaut. CloudBee you did that for your son's Halloween with a helmet, right? Could you post or email a pic for inspiration?

The minimalist approach = Carter's shirt plus Target hat
This was around 8 months. We did the same thing this past Halloween too. No regrets as DS wanted no parts of either a costume or ToT.
I really like @vicmo 's Frenchie. We might try that this year. I volunteered at the day care party, and the kids in the heavy fur costumes were miserable in class all day. That seems like a great alternative.

I don't think we actually dressed DD up on the actual day, but we had a little lady bug onesie and hat that we put her in when we went to the pumpkin patch. She was just over a month old.

Lmk if you want the link to the etsy beret shop! Lol.
LOL, I think I will when we get closer.
When the costume posts become weekly, I will remember to get in gear!
I don't think I paid that much...maybe other vendors will restock before Halloween.
Or, depending on what size you are if I still have it I can send it to you. I'm not sure if I do or not. There were only two sizes- believe mine was the S/M
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
