I have started to look around at cribs (have I mentioned that we sold every last baby item?) and I am pretty sure I want white. I was thinking of getting gray but decided white would be easier to sell when I am done with it. I have always loved Jenny Lind cribs but when DS was born I didn't get one. By the time DD came along, we just used the same crib for her.
Now that I am essentially starting over, I am considering a Jenny Lind again but feel like it might be too...frilly? I haven't really been looking much and did find some I liked on Amazon. Any thoughts? DH doesnt like the JL crib.
Ikea!! We have the ikea one for jamie. I would probably buy a JL crib for this girl if I could convince H, but the ikea one is really good looking and holds up well
We have Ikea cribs. I just like the look of them and the price was right when we needed two. The kids still sleep in them as toddler beds. I don't think I will be able to re-sell them or even pass them on since they are starting to show their wear, but 3+ years is a good run.
Since you have always wanted a JL, I would get one. I think they are gender neutral and it depends on how you style the linens and room.
It would be fab to find one on Craigslist or something and paint it a traditionally masculine color like gray, navy or black... Or even a pop color like grass green.
We considered the Jenny Lind, but ended up choosing something more traditional. I really love what we picked! It was reasonably priced, but very well made/sturdy. Baby Cache Montanta in white -

I will go check out Ikea! I am probably not going to get the JL...as much as I love it, I do think it's girly. I had the chance to get a JL bed for DD's big girl room but opted for a matching set instead. JL is not in my destiny evidently.
Of the others I have seen, I do really like the Graco Lauren. I wouldn't use it as a bed either gamecockgirl74

Land of Nod has a kelly green crib and I waaaaaant it even though it matches absolutely nothing I'm planning.

Ikea also has an unfinished crib that you can paint awesome colors!

This is an awesome idea. I am not doing a full on nursery this time either. We have a 4 br house with the 4th room being our guest room. I plan to keep the full guest bed in there and basically just add the baby stuff to the room. I have purchased some bedding and seem to be headed in a gray/yellow direction. Maybe I will revisit the idea of a gray crib!
We have the Graco Lauren as well. Just one small annoyance with it. The top rail on the back is thick, so we weren't able to attach anything to back rail, like the mobile. I felt like the mobile was in the way attached to the front, so we ended up attaching it to the end rail. Not a huge deal, but I would have liked it more centered on the bed.

I want almost everything from Land of Nod. My daughter's rug is from there and if I had an unlimited budget, I would have decorated her whole room with Land of Nod.
I just bought a crib sheet from there during the last sale and I love it. What are you planning for your little girl?

It's all perfection!!! Seriously, I love it. I love the colors so much. This is the rug that we have from Land of Nod, it looks similar to your choice. It's much more muted/less bright in person. It's almost a dusty rose color.
