I saw my OB briefly yesterday and he gave me some ideas. Benadryl, B6, sea bands, peppermint oil. I started B6, I have peppermint oil that helps a bit. I hesitate to do Benadryl because I'm already exhausted. And seabands would just advertise that I'm pregnant, which I don't want to do yet. I even bought some fresh ginger to juice and make homemade Gingerale.
He said he would write me a script, but I feel like the fact that I'm not puking means I don't really warrant thAt. I just feel nauseated. All. The. Time.
Don't feel bad about taking meds. Fill the rx and use it with no guilt if you feel like you need it. Sucking on hard candy, eating tiny amounts of food at a time and eating right away in the morning helped. Feel better!
Oh, I forgot about KFC mashed potatoes. My OB actually told me to get them and eat a spoon full every 30 minutes or a few spoons every few hours. It actually really helped. Something about the salt? They were also good because when you're feeling sick the last you want to do is chew. My H would get me the catering size and I think it was around $8. I was not craving them, but they really helped. My OB said she recommends them to everyone
We lived near a KFC when I was pregnant with B and their mashed potatoes were one of the only things I could stomach during the first tri.
I could never let myself get hungry, so I would constantly snack or be drinking something. ginger tea, ginger candies, they worked well. eventually I had to go on diclegis which is essentially B6 and unisom and that works wonders for me. I hope you feel better soon!

I didn't read all the responses so this may be repeats.
First of all, I took Zofran around the clock, even before I threw up for the first time. I was so nauseous I couldn't function at work (or at home really). You don't have to actually throw up to need meds, don't feel bad about that.
Sour patch kids were helpful, French fries, crackers, nibbling on stuff throughout the day. I had a hard time with water, so I would drink flavored water or lemonade.
I hope you feel better soon!!! It sucks so so so much.
I never puked but I couldn't function with the nausea and dry heaving. I took zofran my whole pregnancy.
I also took unisom every night too... Had crackers or something before I got out of bed when it was the worst. I always had something in my stomach, granola bar, toast, also jolly ranchers, peppermint discs. I forced myself to eat most of the time.

Candy-jolly ranchers, starburst, sour patch kids... Anything I could suck on. I ate Popsicles for breakfast. I had to constantly eat to keep the naseaua at bay. The sea bands really worked for me too.
Sorry you are sick and hope you find something that works!
Thanks ladies. I go for my intake appt tomorrow, so maybe I'll have him write me a prescription so that I have it. Its such a balancing act of eating/not wanting to eat. I'm so much worse than I was with A.
I used Preggie pops and sour balls. I read somewhere that the sour overrides the nausea center in the brain. It can't deal with both the nausea and the sour at the same time. Sour trumps. I was nauseous from the day I got pregnant till the day I delivered. I never thought to ask about it and get Zofran.

Lol @ the mashed potatoes. I can't believe that works!
I see him tomorrow and I'll have him write me a script for Zofran. That way I don't HAVE to take it, but it's available. I've always just thought of it for the poor pukers, but all day nausea is killer, and I have a week of workshops next week I have to be on point for
Eating often was a necessity for me. Also sour candies did seem to help a bit, maybe. I tried the unisom a couple times and I think it helped a bit maybe. At least it helped me sleep when I was so nauseous it was hard to fall asleep
I don't know nothing really helped much I am so sorry!! I also only puked sometimes not every day at all but the all day nausea was killer.
For me it ended at 12-13 weeks. It was worse the second pregnancy but ended sooner.
