Ya'll might need to come back with the hugs and stuff cuz I'm definitely not at the sad stage.mi feel like I not going to,hit that stage this time though, I'm feeling relieved to finally have figured out the fishy business from Feb.
Also SINGLE. Yesssssssssssss.
XH was a compulsive liar, too. It was one of the reasons we broke up. I think I reached the sad stage with him before I actually made the decision to break up, so once I actually did it, I was FREEEEEEEE! It's possible you've already gone through it and won't have to worry about it.
I don't know how this one will go based on previous posts I've read and I may run away crying (OK, not literally) because honestly, I'm still working on my thick skin and am intimidated by some of you!
So we had a customer visiting today and tomorrow. Going to lunch and dinner with a customer is pretty standard, right? How about a stop at the gun range on they way to dinner? Because that's just what happened. I work in manufacturing and our particular industry is very male dominated and I have a particular coworker who is a type a/alpha personality who has a tendency to push me out of the way, to the point that a few of our customers are going directly to him and I have to remind them that I'm their contact. This is the same hypocritical ass who believes that if in the same situation, say defending your reason for doing "x", the woman is being bitchy but men are just being aggressive - he also doesn't believe in sex discrimination, OK.
Well he was out of the office today and I wasn't able to make the dinner portion tonight. The guys said they were going to the gun range and asked if I wanted to go. I kind of stood there because I wasn't sure if they were serious or not and they were serious. I wasn't sure what to do but I decided to go and "take advantage" of the situation and the opportunity to "assert" myself. It's fucking stupid that I have to show a stereotypical "male side" to show that I need to be taken seriously.
Since this will be asked - yes, I have taken my gun safety course and yes, I've shot a handgun with my dad before.
Anyone else want to share any WTF customer/vendor meeting situation?
I'm sorry you were put in that situation franklin. I don't blame you for going but I hate that you were put in that position. I'd be angry and frustrated were I in your shoes.
Really?! No one else is curious what the conference/convention was?
I'm going to entertain myself and say furrIes.
Well, I want to know what he told her and then I want to know what conferences Gracie googled to see were happening at that time to see if they match up.

At least it wasn't a strip club? *-)
Yeah, I wouldn't even know what to do in that situation.
H and I have done really well at not taking our real estate stress (both renting a place across the country and selling our house here) out on one another. A HUGE fight is coming, though. I can feel it, and I can also tell I'm probably going to be the one who starts it.
Random question. What kind of conference? Did he even say?
I know the exact convention, it's a comic on type thing that we had planned to go to together but couldn't financially swing it this year (or so I thought).
I'm 2dpo too. Waiting for the crosshairs to shop up tomorrow.
Good luck to you!
let's do this!!
I still got a positive opk today which is pissing me off but fertility friend seems to think that temps trump opks so I am going with it. I've had two high temps and entering a fake one for tomorrow gives me cross hairs.

I just watched Bridget Jone's Diary and the sequel in the past two days and I didn't know who Colin Firth was until watching them. He's pretty hot. He rocks a suit. He's why I watched the second one even though it was pretty bad.

Do not pass Go, and do not collect $200 until you have watched the 5-hour BBC/A&E Pride and Prejudice miniseries in its entirety. Then we can talk about Colin Firth's hotness.
