One of the best parts of my area is the abundance of Peruvian chicken places, but sometimes I am just too lazy for takeout. Found a place tonight with delivery! Yay!
Also, it's proven to be the only thing Tater will eat post-surgery, so that's lucky.
Oh! I bought C's birthday invites from Etsy today. I didn't love any of the red, white and two invites so I went with some that were still the same colors but instead said, "Our little firecracker is turning two!" Too far for the ginger baby?
I know a lot of people here have recently been through a lot more recently so I feel bad complaining but I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed today. My husband has been working pretty long hours (nothing super crazy, but 55ish a week), my house is perpetually a cluttered disaster, I feel guilty about pregnancy weight gain, and nervous about the dog coming back in a few days. I feel guilty that sometimes I feel like I can't handle it all when I know a lot of other people handle a lot more. So it's like overwhelmed guilt
There are no Overwhelmed Olympics here. Stress is stress. I hope this phase passes quickly.

Has anyone been prescribed Reglan instead of Zofran? The nurse explained that due to all of the claims about Zofran, doctors are reluctant to prescribe it to pregnant women now. They warned me that Reglan can make you sleepy....I'm already exhausted.
water*drop I probably have 4 or 5 baskets, plus some piles. It's daunting
Yeah, that's what I was up against this morning. I worked on it every time DS fell asleep or tolerated hanging out in the bouncer, and it seriously took me all day.
DS was fighting bedtime tonight, so I put him in the stroller and went for a walk. Picked up a cup of coffee (I have to do work tonight) and got my eyebrows threaded. Came home and bam!, he was out within 10 minutes.

Daunting is the right word.
All of our clothes (2 adults 1 toddler) are clean but sitting in baskets. Dh has to throw his work shirts in the dryer every morning to de wrinkle them
We took away DD's pacifiers tonight. (she'll be two in a couple weeks) She has 3 different wubbanubs, so we just cut the pacifier part off, and it's gone surprisingly well so far! She didn't cry at all, and she still seemed to like the stuffed animal part. It looks like she's almost asleep, and it only took about 45 min. which is less than what I thought it would! We'll see how the MOTN goes though, because sometime she cries briefly in her sleep while she blindly feels for her pacifiers til she finds one.

We put in an offer! It was sent just before 4:00 and the sellers have until 10:00 to respond. It's just after 9:00 and still no word. Eeeeek! So nerve wracking!

Came home from yoga just in time to see the goals.
My prenatal massage was fabulous. Then DH and I picked up DS and we hit Panera for dinner. Came home, put DS to bed, and then I went to yoga. Yoga felt really good and it's so nice when I don't have to make many modifications for pregnancy, since the class changes every time.
Tomorrow I have an OB appt and I think I might have an ultrasound tomorrow. I can't remember if she said it was this appt or the next one.
My brother and SIL picked up our crib (she's pregnant; we're giving them our nursery furniture). I have had a crib set up in my house for the last 8 years straight. It!'s the end of an era! Is it unreasonable to feel a little wistful?
I think that's normal. It's officially the end of babies and even if that's what you want and know is best I can imagine it's hard for it to be final.
I was craving good old fashion goulash tonight but I put too many tomatoes in it so it doesn't taste like grandma's.
I'm also going to attempt to take both DS and the dog to the dog park by myself. Yikes
For the love, I know where you are from. Do not F up the goulash.
Just. Do. Not.
Screwed up goulash is just really boring "hotdish" after all.
JK. My SIL made me a casserole tonight as a peace offering for an unprecendent adult tantrum she threw at me yesterday. I love the girl. She's a terrible cook though. I'm not all that fussy and even I was like "WTH is this exactly!" I fed it to one my employees and the first words out of his mouth were, "X made this for you she didn't she!" And he didn't mean it positively...lol.
