My old next door neighbors were IT nerds. We had the passwords of the houses on either side of us for internet for 10 years. It was nice because we all had different internet providers, so one was always working.
No one ever hacked anyone. We still hang out together.
I like Tokenhoser's idea mostly because our sitters have used ours, kids gave them the password, and I can see their email, since they have it set to not log out. I don't want to, but the way it is set up, I can see it when I go into mine on some devices.
Eh, I get that this isn't the tech recommended thing to do but I think being neighborly is nice. Although it's possible he's a criminal I thibk it's more likely he is just a new neighbor in a tight spot. I'd change my password today, though. (Really I'd set up a guest account.)
