You know what's NOT awesome when you have all day nausea??? Glucose drink!! Bleh. Apparently old people get the 1 hr glucose test at the intake appt. at least the phlebotomist warned me when I was in for betas, so I didn't eat anything super carby like I normally would have. Hopefully I win.

I just called work to verify with my HR that I was being put on the schedule that's being made right now. I officially go back in 2 weeks, July 15th. Waaaah.

Laying in bed with W on a rainy vacation morning while DH is making me the perfect French press coffee. I hope he gets the brilliant idea to make eggs country style as well. I always over schedule vacations so this is kinda nice.
I am laying on the couch getting another check up by doctor Noah. This strep is kicking my ass. I can't remember the last time I was this sick. And I guess it's from being pregnant but I just can't seem to kick it. Noah and my were better after 1 or 2 doses of antibiotic.
Yesterday was my Friday! Plan for today is to go through a bunch of crap/boxes in the basement and see if we have enough for a garage sale. Going out for dinner and then to see Magic Mike tonight! I'm sure it will be horrible but hey, at least the looking will be good.
You guys, I have to brag. I haven't run (or done much of anything) in two years, so I decided to start Couch to 5K today and did a trial run to see where my starting point is. I ran 3.5 miles! On a hilly course! In the rain! My time was 35:01, which would've made prekid fit me sad, but I'm thrilled with it now.
I'm going to the Melting Pot with some friends tonight and then we're going to see Magic Mike. Can't freakin' wait. I didn't see the first one, so hopefully I can keep up with the plot LOL
Today is my 9 year anniversary. Ian and I are going to paint pottery since that is the 9 yr gift theme and then going out for sushi. Clara will be joining us though. I haven't given her a bottle yet and my mom is scared to babysit both. I have to do my dinner theater show on the 11th though so I need to try a bottle pretty soon.
It's so confusing though... Legal to have but not to buy. Legal to have plants but not to buy seeds I've been watching the news on this all week in my boredom
My H and I went out for tapas last night and it was so good! Hummus, steak with chimichurri sauce and patatas bravas, asparagus, and calamari. We went at like 4:30 so we had the bartender as our server and the whole place to ourselves. He was awesome and when I asked about allegens the chef came out to chat, was super accommodating and oohed and aahed at one sleeping Elliot.
vthokie good luck!! I had to try with all my non-puking powers to not throw mine up that I had to take while pregnant with William. I hope it goes smoothly and you pass with no issues.

I LOVED restaurants where the chef would come out at talk to me about my issues of what I could and couldn't eat when I was struck MSPI. It makes you feel so much calmer.

Yes! We've been sticking to the same few restaurants, but mainly eating at home because of a few not so good experiences early on even when I asked the server about allergens. So this was awesome
On Sunday I bought 10 pounds of ground beef and am now making several batches of meatballs for the freezer. I've never really successfully done homemade meatballs, so I hope this works well. I'm starting to stock up on more freezer meals for when the school year starts.
I'm also attempting to make homemade refried beans. I feel so domestic!
Well, except for the pile of dirty dishes on the other counter. But we won't talk about those.
Every time I rinse Nolan's hair in the bath, he has to give me a hug right after. It's his sweet little coping mechanism that leaves my shirt covered in shampoo.

Yeah, I think they have to figure out the laws around it, right? Eventually you can buy it?
